Killer in the Cabin is a great game to play with friends.
Get together a group of up to 8 friends and try to stay alive!
It's not only the killer that you need to look out for, keep an eye on your hunger, energy, warmth and thirst by collecting and cooking food, drinking water, sleeping and starting a fire to keep warm.

Tasty button-mashing goodness!
Good finger workout, if you play for too long your hands get so sore!

The aesthetics of Jars initially drew me in. I'm a sucker for anything with a Tim Burton vibe.
However Jars did not disappoint. Jars is an entertaining strategy tower defence game in which you play Victor, a young gothic character discovering the secrets buried underneath his house. You'll need to collect minions and items along the way to take out the enemies before they attack and destroy your treasure.
Definitely worth a go if you're a fan of strategy and puzzle games.

I adored playing this game. I haven't connected with any of the other Life is Strange games this deeply since the first one... True Colours has brought the goods!
The story kept me emotionally invested in the characters the entire way and left me wanting to know more after each chapter. Alex's powers were interesting and the game did well not making them feel like a manipulation tool.
Like other games in the series, it's a roller-coaster that makes you laugh and makes you cry and is well worth your time!

Lost Ark is an action MMORPG that brings us into an exciting, vibrant world. The story is engaging enough but does feel like that of most games of its type.
The character creation is exquisite and allows for plenty of customisations to make your character uniquely yours.
There’s always plenty to keep you busy, weather you’re a casual gamer or a hard-core fan. Questing keeps you busy, following the main storyline or running side quests. The stronghold is interesting and feels like a city-builder-type game. There’s also plenty to continue to do once you’ve reached level 50.
I will say that one thing that is pretty annoying is the gender lock on many of the classes. For example if you wanted a female Warrior, too bad!
Be warned, this game is a time sink. You’ll always want to just do one more quest….next minute it’s 3am.
If you’re up for giving this game a try, it is free so you’ve got nothing to lose (apart from maybe your time)!

Hunt: Showdown is a competitive, match-based shooter. The gameplay is difficult, gritty, and lots of fun. You’ll need to make sure you’re on you’re a-game with your reaction time, if you’re not ready to shoot when you see or hear someone, chance are you will die. This has happened to me countless times.
The game mixed PvP and PvE elements exquisitely as you search and seek out to vanish nightmarish monsters and fight other players for the bounties along the way!
Hunt: Showdown is aurally stunning! The soundtrack is one of the best I’ve heard. Port Sulphur Band are very talented at creating the atmosphere for this game.
The way this game uses sound is of most interest to me. Once you get used to what all the sounds are you’ll be able to tell where someone is well before you can see them!

Tandem: A Tale of Shadows is an excellent, somewhat creepy puzzle game!
You play as a girl named Emma and a teddy bear named Fenton who is trying to solve the case of a boy named Thomas who vanished.
It's a short, but very enjoyable game. The puzzles are well crafted and just hard enough that you feel a sense of accomplishment for finishing them.

New World is a damn good MMORPG!
I love that players aren't locked into classes or jobs and can switch between weapons to find out what play-style they like.
My only annoyance is that you cannot swim, you just casually walk across the bottom of the ocean until you run out of air and die.... odd choice!

Now this takes me back to my childhood on the gamecube!
It is a little hard to play with mouse and keyboard so I suggest whipping the controller out for this, if you have one!

Cave Story is a timeless classic, albeit a hardly known one, full of nostalgia!
Even now, seeing it was released in 2004, it still holds its ground as a good, solid game.
