Horrible stuttering issues on a 4090 / i9 13900K. Tried various different settings nothing seems to help. Makes it unplayable unfortunately. Hopefully they figure it out before launch, because I'm almost positive this will be a great game, but the stuttering is so bad it's impossible to play.

Played the first DW games back in the day. I remember being able to ride around the battlefield for a long time having fun hack & slashing my way through hordes on enemies. This demo seems like all they want you to do is run around the map, and save your allies from being killed.

Maybe the demo just does a really horrible job at explaining what you should actually be doing, but every time I tried to play the main guy would die, and it'd be game over. If you stuck with him, you'd loose all the bases, and loose the battle. I guess they want you to be constantly moving from one end of the battlefield to the other? Wish they had a difficulty option to lower the tactical aspects while keeping the actual battle difficulty up. Don't remember DW being super tactical, and more good ole hack n slash fun, but that was years ago so maybe nostalgia is clouding my memory.

Didn't seem like something i'd want to pay 70 bucks for, but at least they offered a demo so you didn't have to refund it.

Game is definitely in early access, and has lots of glaring issues. It feels like an Alpha build, but for $5 it's 100% worth it.

If you like games like Vampire Survivor you will enjoy this as it's the same concept except with shorter levels that increasingly get more difficult. There's 0 hand holding, or tutorial/campaign as of right now. Characters are seasonal, and there's a non seasonal offline mode (haven't tested this). There's also a hardcore mode, and Leaderboards.

As long as you don't go into it expecting a fully developed, and polished game you're likely to get your 5 bucks worth. Excited to see where this game goes, because it's got potential.

Wish there was a mixed option here.
The game seems fun, but some things really bother me. The tutorial is really bad, and ran into bugs where I had to reload in the first 20 minutes of the game. Not only that it doesn't explain half of the systems before throwing you out of the tutorial. This has to be a bug, but half the tool tips are in what seems to be Cyrillic. Doesn't inspire confidence considering I ran into this issue in the tutorial.

Some stuff that bothers me is if you queue up moves like having your bot auto scout (I think that is it's function since the tutorial didn't explain that unit). it'll still ask you what you want to do with the unit before ending your turn. Like if I put a scout on auto it means go scout, and don't ask me every turn If I want to use the unit manually. The unit moves only when I end my turn so it's confusing.

Tutorials are so important for longevity of a game, and if I am gonna invest time into a 4X game I'm hoping I can convince my friends to pick it up too. The number one thing that turns people off is a poor tutorial of your new systems.

If you got a good PC it runs fine, don't let the poors scare you off.

Don't bother with online play right now it'll ruin your experience. Single player is the optimal experience till they get some support on the networking side, but 145.9hrs in 2 weeks speaks for itself. beep bop boop bop, I am not AI!

Bland level design, crashes, glitches out, extremely bland gameplay. Not sure what the hype is about...

I got the achievement for completing my first dungeon last night, and less then 3% of players have earned it. That's wild...
