I really wanna love this game after how much I enjoyed Salt and Sanctuary. But so much of this game is just... scuffed. Enemies can really easily juggle or stunlock you or just straight up launch you off into a fall long enough to outright kill you. Especially if the game drops multiple mages into the same spot.

But really what's worse about that is that this game doesn't really feel all that hard. I often kill mages with health potions to spare, and even then you can run back to an Obelisk to resupply, without it seeming to have any negative impacts on the fight. It's just... tedious. Upgrading equipment forces you into some really time-consuming, samey farming. If the mages that drop the required materials even spawn. Sometimes they don't even drop the material you are farming, either.

Souls-like metroidvania Monster Hunter sounds cool until you realize that means Rathalos Plate farming.
Might be fun for multiplayer or co-op, I guess.

Even if the game may be somewhat dated, Jedi Outcast is a great deal of fun, when it's not stuck you in some horrible death loop.

An amazing game that is passed over a lot. The game may not have the best graphics, but this game stands out with good gameplay and extreme capacity for mods. Seriously, the mods in this game are extensive.

This game is absolutely great. I have a few gripes, mainly about the jumping and different bits requiring platforming being extremely frustrating. Otherwise, this game is near perfect. I find it to be worth the 30 dollars, considering that even without replaying to unlock everything it is still a 40 hour game. I will warn you, this is a hard stealth game. If you get spotted, you will have a hard time trying to fight your way out. There is no going rambo when the jig is up, only escape and coming at the situation from a different angle.
