Interesting concept poor execution. I want to like this I really do but this game focuses on all the wrong things. The game is still in early access and already they're trying to peddle premium plus passes and tacky overprized cosmetics.

The progression system is a slowly torturous grind. You can't even buy boosters that give you multiple cards at once, instead you are fed a slow steady drip of one single card every couple of levels. Having played for 15 hours I only have 1 deck other than the beginning deck of random cards.

I'll gladly reverse my recommendation if they tone down the microtransactions and restructure card progression.

I have no idea what's happening or why but this feels like the back end of a pachinko machine because your senses are assaulted by an onslaught of bright flashing lights and the constant ringing of bells that sound like slot machines. And as far as I can tell there's no way to even lose this game it's just endless stonks for days.

It's an ok way to kill a few hours.

What the hell happened to this game?! Where to even begin? For starters it's a bloated unoptimized 100GB mess. On top of that it uses EasyAntiCheat which as most gamers will tell you is an intrusive resource hog that will constantly lag your game and disconnect you from every other match.

And then we get to the fat greedy elephant in the room...

This game now has tons of microtransactions and a cash shop that sells tacky overpriced weapons, character classes, and maps. It feels like you're playing some kind of sleazy MMO instead of a single player game with a co-op feature.

I really loved this game when it originally came out, it had so much potential, because there aren't that many first person Warhammer games that aren't turn based strategy games. But in it's current form I just can't recommend it.

And can you even still call it Vermintide anymore if you mostly fight daemons and chaos cultists now? I don't know why they keep adding content to this game that has nothing to do with Skaven. I'm going to have to give this a sad pass in the end. I really wanted to keep loving this game.

This game is interesting. It's an on-rail quicktime RPG where you watch your character plow through levels based on your reaction time. You can also enable auto-combat and basically have the game play itself. It's an interesting mix of genres and a fun way to kill some time.

Sadly they announced that they'll be shutting down the servers at the end of the month.

Oh man I really wanted to love this one because the GBA and DS era games post Symphony Of The Night were some of my favorite games. Unfortunately this is just another cheap console port they cobbled together that's clearly not intended to be played on a PC. Something like not being able to rebind your keys is a bit of a deal breaker if you're going to ask people to pay money for these glorified roms.

Like with the other Konami collections this isn't worth the $20 asking price. Wait until it's on sale if you must buy it.

I know this game has gotten a lot of negative reviews but honestly it's not as bad as some people will have you believe. Yes this game is difficult but if you play smart it's not impossible. I dunno, maybe I'm just a patient oldskool gamer who's used to the harshness of permadeath roguelikes.

This game requires a "slow but steady" approach instead of a "get rich quick" scheme. The problem most people seem to run into is that they upgrade their wagon too early, buy too much merchandise they can't sell, and then bleed money on travel costs and bandit attacks. Bandits while random are proportionately attracted to larger merchants, the more cargo you have the more likely you will be attacked. If you can't recoup from a bandit attack then you're expanding too fast. In short don't bite off more than you can chew. A smaller wagon with less cargo will be more successful in the long run.

With all that said this seems to be a lite version of Merchants Of Kaidan, which is bigger and offers more in the way of trading, investing, and politics. So if you enjoyed this game you will definitely love that one.

This was a fun alternative for people who became disappointed with how Realm Royale turned out. I say "was" because they just announced they'll be shutting down the servers at the beginning of 2023.

What made this game stand out from a million generic battle royale games was the magical setting. Instead of guns you had magic gauntlets which let you mix and match spells from a combination of 5 different elements. There was also a progression system where you could level up passive abilities of your primary element during battle. All in all a breath of fresh air from a stale genre.

I'm leaving a positive review in the hopes that someone will revive this game one day down the line.

A fun fast paced alternative for people who think MechWarrior Online is a bit slow. Don't get me wrong MWO is a great game but sometimes you just don't feel like sitting in your garage for a whole hour calibrating your lance reactor coolant syncs. Here you just pick a mech, slap some weapons on, and go. Most matches are over in less than 10 minutes.

With the niceties out of the way it's time to address the painful elephant in the room. This game started out as a mobile game and at it's heart it remains a mobile game. Don't take my word for it just take a look at some of these screenshots.

This game is very grindy and pay-2-win. It takes months to unlock anything and hundreds of dollars to purchase it, there's also multiple rotating currencies and battle passes. These are some of the worst scummiest business practices in modern gaming today. With that said I'm pretty torn up about this review. By all accounts I should make this instantly negative because of the shady manipulative ways the game tries to trick you into spending money. But on the other hand there aren't many PvP mech games out there...

I'll gladly reverse my recommendation if they just ease up on the greedy mobile mindset of milking players, because at it's core this is an amazing mech brawler.

This game died before it's time. Like with many of these sad tales the only problem was an indie studio that didn't have enough money to keep the servers afloat, pun wholly intended. They flailed for a while trying everything from VIP subscriptions to purchasable scenarios but eventually went free-2-play and died shortly thereafter. I wish things had turned out differently.

I didn't get to play much but this was one of those online murder mysteries where one player is chosen to be the killer and the rest try to figure out who. What really made this stand out from something like Town Of Salem or Among Us were the gorgeous graphics and text-to-speech voice acting that really made the story come alive.

I'm leaving a positive review in the hopes that some day down the line someone will revive this gem of a game.

I have very mixed feelings about this game. As a long time Predator fan I really want to love it but there's a million little reasons not to. This could easily be a negative review in a heartbeat.

For a game called "Predator" you will spend the majority of your time playing as a human fighting other humans. The bulk of the gameplay revolves around killing randomly generated NPC terrorists, and only occasionally do you actually encounter a predator. This game is very unbalanced and uneven. It's also very buggy. One of the most obnoxious bugs is the one where your character loadouts reset after every match. Nothing more frustrating that going into a battle with the wrong weapons.

And as long as I'm already heaping salt this game is very grindy, has loot boxes, and about $80 worth of DLC characters at the time of this review. These are some of the worst game design practices in modern gaming and this game could be so much more without them.

Like I said I really want to love this game and the only reason this review is still positive is because I'm choosing to remain optimistic for this game's future.
