I love the game, it allows for a great deal of creativity. I always have to remind though, it is not a finished product. Even after 10 years there is much to be desired in the way of physics and options. But much like playing with Legos, you don't let the limitations limit your creativity. An engineer solves problems with what he has or can build. That is what this game really is, a toolset for creativity.

That said, I am VERY MUCH looking forward to the next released version of the game that is rumored for Space Engineers 2, with water physics and hopefully less restrictions on building. Hint Keen, blocks should be able to be triangles with attachment points on all sides, not just on the cube sides. But I support the effort and game, have all the DLCs and have bought the game for friends because it is sandbox and creative.

Kind of addictive in the same way Civ games are, but simpler and quicker to play.

Best, most immersive cowboy shooter I've ever played.
