Very very good game. Too bad the devs were screwed over and had to release the game without being able to finish optimization. At least there is a DLSS 3 mod already.

So far a great atmospheric game. 80s Anime/90s manual art style, LOTS of art. It's cute on the surface but with very dark undertones and spooky scenes. The closest game in gameplay type I would say is Pentiment, as you simply walk through environments to discover things and talk to people, and choose which time consuming activity you do each day.
I'm excited to play more.

Easily in my Top 3 games of time. So many amazing little details and stories, such good progression, and always something new, never resting on the so far established formula. Add to that the best turn based combat system of all time coupled with amazing persona crafting, and arguably the best soundtrack ever made for a videogame.

Good game, has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Returnal. It's a not a roguelike. It has kind of a Dark Souls level structure and a scifi story about exploring an alien planet. Has an actual competent scientist as a main character, which you pretty much never see. Analyzing the environment and learning about the story is what drives me forward to play more.
Combat is ok, I would say on the quality level slightly above something like Greedfall. Not the greatest thing in the world, but ok.
If you love scifi, and are ok with a AA game, give this a go. If you are here purely for the gameplay, maybe watch a video to see if it's for you.

Having a blast, absolutely great combat and map to explore. The main char is cool, and you get to collect cats. Story is still a mystery, but I'm eager to find out more. 25 hours in, I beat 1 of 4 bosses. How did anyone finish this in 15 hours?

Best puzzle game of all time. Bought in on release. I will finish it one day, but it's hard.
