Please fix the controller support, movement sometimes gets halted against my will right now and I need the controller to function more reliably in order to finish the last few levels.

However, game's fun overall and I do wanna finish it for a reason. I just want Vanripper to patch the game so controller support is more smooth and doesn't have this halting issue so I can actually finish these last few levels without screaming my head off.

I think Rivet has a nice ass.

It's mechanically polished, a fun title with good exploration and power ups. The game is well worth the price because even past the charm of being "the CDI game", it's still a fantastic game that is fairly short for an afternoon playthrough!

I'm just saying this now, this is the best case scenario for a remaster collection. Quality of life improvements that don't take away from the core appeal of the mechanics, the ability to swap between new and old graphics, and it's three whole games in one $30.00 purchase. For a hardcore TR fan like me it's an obvious must buy but I'd say if you're a newcomer who doesn't know where to start with the series that this collection is the best gateway game period.

also the modding scene for this collection is growing, slowly learning the files and workings of the game and it's only added to why I'd recommend getting it on PC.

100% buy this if you're at all curious!

This game has a wonderful weapon selection and I love it's unique mechanics like the taunt button and the homing attack.

My only real gripe/issue is that Chapter 3's levels are poorly designed and the due to that, I really felt a slog in the latter half of the game but Chapters 1 and 2 are seamless and enjoyable experiences so I'd still recommend this game to anyone interested in a good retro shooter experience.

Imagine if Tony Hawk's Underground was put under a TWEWY/JSR lense, that's this game! Go play it it's $40 and it's alot of fun go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play it play it play it now pls

Dead Estate or How I Learned To Stop Hating and Love the Roguelike.

I used to hate roguelikes but Dead Estate really got me to understand the appeal of the genre. I might have to revisit Hades in the future to see if I enjoy it more now that I have this new perspective on the roguelike genre.

It feels like Wayforward was handed this project and their solution for "make a RWBY game" was to take the foundation of a Shantae game but remove the good writing and strong level design in favor of very beginner friendly level design and really middle of the road writing. You can tell what parts were done by Wayforward and what parts were effected by Rooster Teeth's well known mediocre influence on everything they touch.

Having said that, I would recommend playing this if you got 7 hours to kill and have a vague interest in the RWBY IP but if you don't care for RWBY or are already familiar with Metroidvanias, this game might end up being underwhelming for you.

It's one of the video games of all time, a real 3/5 star type game.
