The best FPS-RPG ever made

I recommend checking out the Tale of Two Wastelands mod. It puts the entirety of Fallout 3 into the New Vegas engine and lets you play both games on the same save seamlessly. No real compatibility issues with Windows or anything, limits your mod selection a bit, but it's extremely worth it. One of the best gaming experiences you can have if you're a fan of these older titles.

Did a playthrough in like an hour and a half, felt like I'd seen everything it had to offer. Really cool concept but not enough there to shake things up.

Pay to win

Somewhere in between Diablo 3 and Path of Exile in terms of depth, pretty close to Grim Dawn. Much more approachable than PoE but still far more engaging and deeper mechanics than Diablo. I don't feel the need to follow a build guide to be viable in the endgame and you have so much agency and customization with your builds.

It took me about 15-20 hours to finish the story at a super casual pace doing every side quest on my first toon, which was pretty damn cool, I loved the time travelling gimmick. There is an endgame loop there sort of like rifts or maps, but it could use some more development time and improvements to get the same dopamine drip that the bigger games have.

The devs are super cool too, super active on the discord and will talk to just about anyone, you can tell they love the genre and that this is a passion project. Pretty great game overall, even in early access it's definitely worth the base price. Can't wait to see how it develops.

I want this game to be good so bad, it's so well executed and such a unique concept, but it feels like a demo. Like what you would introduce at the beginning of early access. Once you get a good build, you can steamroll through without an issue, it's just a sorta low effort feeling RNG. There's almost no content, and some characters vastly outshine the others. If it was more than half off and you had some friends, it might be worth a few hours. But there's a severe lack of content here, please add more devs :(

Update 2.5 years later: Not much has changed and the game has been abandoned. Very sad.

So, so, so bad.

Badass missions and side missions, super cool worldbuilding.

Anything outside of the story is an absolute cluster♥♥♥♥, I thought it was all just a hate circlejerk, but the bugs are everywhere and the open world is completely abysmal.

Still a super fun game though

This game is the ♥♥♥♥, best idler and it's still getting updated nonstop. God knows how many hundreds of hours I already had in it before the steam launch, god knows how many I'm going to accrue after.
