Was it different from the Life is strange games you're used to?

Yes.

The new art style basically means that everything takes a lot more work to make which was noticeable with how this game compares to the previous Life is strange games in terms of content, length and interactions.

In older games you would be met with tons of small little things to interact with, which if you directly compare this game to it might feel like a bit of a let down, characters took a long time to grown on me and by the time I started caring about them the game was almost over (more on this later), but at the same time, if you set the old games and expectations aside you still end up with a solid game.

It was probably in chapter 4 that it really pulled me in, and chapter 5 was just great (I was a bit scared after seeing people being upset with the later chapters online), however I still had that feeling mentioned above where I wished we had more time to interact and connect to the characters, that was until it was revealed that this game will likely have a direct sequel.

I really hope the mixed reviews on this game don't prevent this from being made, having a direct sequel where go into the game already having established connections to the characters/setting and story is perfect, we don't have to spend 3-4 chapters to start caring about new characters and can instead dive straight into the good stuff.

All I can say is, well played Deck Nine, and please give us that sequel

Had the pleasure of meeting the developer at Gamescom, girlfriend instantly fell in love with the game so got it for her on release, ended up liking it so much that I bought another copy for myself and am now addicted as well. 10/10 game

This DLC absolutely raised this game up to be one of the best games ever made, well done CD Projekt Red, well ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ done

This game made its way up to become one of my favourites, from the start to the end and then the update, just perfect
