Unless you are a big fan of Blimps or Monorails, which are basically the same thing like Trams just over the road instead of on the road, this DLC is not exactly worth it.

The only reason I would recommend it though is because of the modding community: There will be Mods and Assets that are dependent on the features of this DLC. Giant Custom Transporthubs or special cable cars, who knows. It will come and then you will be happy that you bought this DLC.

This game may be old but it is still a pearl.

After about 10 years I am still having loads of fun playing this. The A. I. is actually very well done and varies depending on the kind of race/event you are doing and depending on what character we are speaking of. The graphics are actually quite acceptable for such an old game and the performance is great! (It runs on FullHD with 100FPS without any crashes what so ever)
For a few hours of fun while playing through the career mode this game is definetly worth it! Especially when it is on sale as it goes for just 2€

Only downside I can think are the rather small maps as well as no direct multiplayer support but users found a way to play together. See steamguides for more information.

Have I mentioned the soundtrack of this game yet? No? HECK! This game is one of the best soundtracks I can imagine: Nickelback, Alkaline Trio, Yellowcard even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Rise Against. Truly some good music for every Rock/Metal fan!

Oh boy, the first serious negative review for this DLC, here goes nothing.

I bought this, just like the other two DLCs, on day one.
As someone that genuinly liked Snowfall and After Dark, I advice you not to buy Natural Disasters (yet). 15€ is not only more than the other Expansions, it also comes with less content.

After Dark introduced new Buildings and new City District Specializations that actually added reasonable content to city builders. Snowfall added a whole new variable to the game: temperature and snow that will be blocking the streets as well as Trams and special roads for those.

Natural Disaster however only brings you the tools to destroy your city. It sure is nice to see that from time to time, I admit that, but it does not actually add anything to enhance your city. The new Disaster Buildings, such as the Radiotower, look very good and certainly add something neat to the scenery of your city BUT the disaster response unit and shelter/evac routes are not exactly something that will make your city a better place. They are just tools to "save" your citizens when your city gets wrecked. I do not see the point in paying 15€ for some gimmicky tools to destroy which took me douzens of hours to build.

They quality of the buildings and the disasters really is top notch, very nice work of the guys and gals of Colossal Order. The disasters are well done and actually impact the game when they happen. Earthquakes for instance, will crack the terrain unless you have a way to fill the whole (Mods?), same goes for the sink holes. Tsunami overflow water can be directed outside of the city with special canals which were added to the game. The disaster response unit will take care of some of the destruction and the helicopters are a very cool new thing to have, can't wait to see what modders will be able to do with those. But all in all, this dose not give me tools to build a better city in the way I see this game.

To sum this up, it is a fun thing to use from time to time (If you saved your map first, seriously, save your maps FIRST!), but for anyone that just wants to build a damn city or that goes for aesthetics, this expansion is not what you want.

The game is nicknamed Cracktorio for a good reason. It's the mother of all automation games.

As for me, which has been confirmed by some of my friends: When you start playing this game, you will be confused. If you continue for an hour or so, you understand how it works and once you understand how it works, it will not let go of you. You will spent the first 30h or so finding newer and better ways to improve your base or finding new gameplay features to apply to your base. This basically forces you to continue. I spent like 80h during my holidays in the first week in this game. The last time I managed to do something like this was when I got minecraft back in Alpha.

The User Rating on Steam is not lying to you! Its in the top 5 best reviewed games on steam! Get the demo and force yourself through it. If it starts to click, the 30€ will not be wasted on this game, I promise you that.

Cities: Skylines is a true gem. A good choice for everyone that is even remotely interested in resource management and creative games.

Reasons why this game is great:
  • It is a giant Sandbox leaving you almost infinite creative freedom
  • It has a gorgeous artstyle
  • If you own the DLCs, you have a whole lot of City Serives to manage to keep your citizens happy
  • There are diffrent climates for each map
  • It is very relaxing
  • Modsupport. This ist he biggest plus, there are so many mods and additions available for free that you can not only expand on your creative freedom, you can also change the gameplay or enhance existing features. You want to be able to set the time of your world? There is a mod. You want new roadtypes? There are mods for that. You want new unique buildings to keep your cities unique? There are tons of mods for that. Everything easily accessible through the workshop.

Problems that Cities: Skylines has:
  • It is a traffic management game rather than a city management game. Roadlayout and services always come first, the beauty of your city second.
  • Many of the objects/textures are low res to enhance performance
  • DLCs are rather pricey for what they add. However, they are great so far. Would advise to buy on sales.
  • Many great features are behind a paywall because of the DLCs
  • It is one of these games that never end and keep eating your free time without you noticing it.
  • Performance. Big Cities take a lot of resources and can slow down your game a lot. Especially with mods. This was the biggest let down for me.

The Performance
The game keeps steady at 20FPS in these High Density Cities. This can be a problem for anyone that wants clean 60FPS or more but considering how much the game has to Render and Process, this is actually quite acceptable.
The only problem I see is that the game uses lots of RAM. A modded Game with ~1400 Assets takes about 12GBs of RAM.
Load times on HDDs can be up to 15min with lots of mods/assets. Consider putting the game on an SSD or even an M.2. Putting it on a normal SSD speed up the loading for about 66%. M.2 not tested yet.

Alternative Ways to play
This game can be two things for you: If you stay vanilla or install mods that expand on vanilla, it is a city building strategy game. Keep your citizens happy or else face the consquences of losing all your tax income and eventually be ruined. You lose if you are out of money.

The other way to play this game, which I am embracing, is the creative way. Unlimited Money, all buildings unlocked (comes with vanilla) or if you install the right mods, you can even disable citizen needs as well as building abandonment. This way you can purely focus on building your dream city. Here is a link to my personal screenshots of Cities: Skylines to see what I am talking about: http://steamoss.com/id/genaralage/screenshots/?appid=255710&sort=newestfirst&browsefilter=myfiles&view=imagewall

On my profile you also find Modcollection for creative play.

Elite is a special kind of game. It is one of those games you just have to like to have fund with. It is similar to Flight Simulators or even ArmA. You either like it or you do not. If you like it, you will have the time of your life and it will be easy to look over all of it's problems without regert but if you dislike it, well... then it feels like the biggest piece of garbage you can buy for money.

-If you enjoy games with atmosphere, that put you in a gigantic world where you are on your own without any big instructions on what to do, Elite is your kind of game.
-Do you like amazing graphics and awesome scenery to make screenshots off, possibly seeing things noone has ever seen before? Then Elite is for you.
-You enjoy having to chose from a large variety of things to do in a game with none of them being mandatory at all? Then Elite is something you will like.
-Do you enjoy cooperative RPGs where you can Team up to gain an advantage? Then you will have fun with this game.

Elite offers an entire, realistic galaxy with many things to do. Become a miner, a trader, a pirate, a soldier, an explorer, a Bounty Hunter, a rescue operator, a mercenary, a faction leader. All that is possible in Elite, even weird fuses between those jobs.

The galaxy simulation features real time trading between systems that is influenced by both NPCs and Players alike. If you sell a large amount of Mineral A to System X, then the demand for that Mineral will go down and the price will drop as they do not need as much of that Mineral anymore. Smuggle a load of Slaves into a station and watch it have an ecnomic boom. Kill system authorithy vessels and watch as the whole system slowly shifts who is in charge or even goes into complete anarchy.

The Power Play Factions are having an entire war in our Milky way. The so called "Bubble" is the main playground for those, a cluster of systems around the Earth, where everything began. You can pledgy allegiance to one of those Factions and perform missions for them. Gather intel about other systems to allow your Faction to expand into it at some point. Activly help the Navy of your Factions in Combat Zones when attacking or defending a system. Do that in order to keep the influence in that system up or tear the influence of another system down. Gain merits by doing so, leveling you up in the ranks of your faction to allow bigger weekly payouts.

Don't enjoy any of the things named above? Elite also allows for many other things to do. For instance, you can just build an exploration ship and go explore the entire milky way. Yes I said the entire milky way. Think somewhat like 4.000.000.000 Systems. There is also quite some money to be made when finding special bodies or even finding things noone has found before.

Upgrade your ships internal parts: Shields, Hull, Sensors, Thrusters, Frameshiftdrive, Power Distributor, Power Plant, Weapons, Gadgets, Cargo, Reinforcement, Scanners, you name it. If that is not even enough for you, the Season Pass even allows you to farm for special Upgrades able to be applied on certain parts of your ship.

====Negative things about Elite====
While it is a very beautiful and special game in my opinion, Elite currently has a lot of problems.

Getting into the game without help is very hard. You need at least some sort of information source like reddit if you do not want to spent hours and hours figuring out how things work. This is a very unique expierence but most people will not like finding out everything on their own.

The AI can sometimes be completely random and just attack you on sight without hesitation, causing a lot of frustration.

Some Materials, especially for The Engineers DLC under the Season Pass can be annoyingly hard to obtain and the outcome of the recipes are completely randomized so even a few douzen hours of farming can still leave you with something worse than the stock version.

Grinding in general is something any progress oriented player will dislike. It takes a long time to get those 155 Million Credits for that one ship you wanted and even if you are doing something that gets a good amount of money, you'll have to redo it over and over again. Not much change found there.

Playing without a proper input like at least a controller if not a Joystick or even something more professional leaves out a lot of the fun. This game just plays better with good equipment. It even has VR support to make it even better.

Overall I would recommand this game to anyone that likes Space Simulators or that is a fan of flight sims. Elite is a unique Space Flight Sim RPG Hybrid but a lot of fun if you manage to get into it.

Istrolid is a 2D Realtime Strategy Game where you can build your own fleet using douzens of diffrent building blocks. You have power supplies of diffrent kinds and sizes, many diffrent weapons and weapon utilities, Armorblocks of many diffrent kinds, Thrusters in various sizes and other mobility blocks. But beware: The more Blocks you use your ship will costs more to build. You only start with a certain amount of Money in each level to "Call in" your ships. You can either call in one giant ship or a few middle size ships or a swarm of small fighters. It is a strategy game after all.

Your goal is to Design a fleet that is more effective than that of your opponent. You have to capture control points that generate money for you that you can use to call in more ships. There is a whole Campaign Mode with douzens of diffrent AI Armies to fight agains where you unlock more and more blocks the more missions you win. It also comes with an Online Mode where you can fight agains the fleets of player around the world.

This game is very well done for a free game. I really hope the developer will add more features to the game, maybe even Coop Mode

Add this to your start parameters to avoid the new Launcher:
"C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\KSP_x64.exe" %command%

They just added an Ad-Ware Launcher on an over 10 year old game, completely out of the blue.
Coincidentally this gets added 4 months before KSP2 goes into early access, a game with a lot of controversy behind its development, with hardly anyone from the original KSP Team still working on it.

I fear dire Times ahead of us.
