the game is practically dead at this point
rockstar have now said that there won't be new content for at least a few months, don't expect anything new to happen after those months either

they have let it die, do not waste your money

destiny 2 is incredibly unfriendly towards new and returning players alike, i may still enjoy and play this game but simply can't recommend that anyone else should pick it up
the f2p content is extremely limited and the forsaken expansion has next to nothing left in it at this point
update: i'm free, no more destiny 2
