I already loved it after the first 15 minutes, definitely an upgrade and difference to the PS4 version.
Absolute gorgeous graphics, great music picks and great dualsense implementations so far, I am glad that we are getting this game on PC too and not PS5 exclusively :) Love the trigger choice "clicks" when a selection is made for example.

I mean yeah, 70€ for a remake seems overpriced, but it seems like they actually remade the game more or less fully from scratch.
The animations & the body/face tracking are updated, the voicelines are newly recorded again, improved graphics (obviously..) and it seems like they even made small map changes and extensions.
So I'd say, the price is .. fair. If you don't like it, go to a keystore or wait for a sale.

Now the negatives..
Yes, we have the typical launch day issues, but I can't say that it is unplayable or super badly optimized.
Some stutters here, a few broken shadows there, but nothing serious in my opinion.
Biggest issue for me is missing audio during some intro videos where the game is loading in the background, freezing the audio during that I guess.. but I am not sure if that's actually the case or if the audio just bugged.
And I don't know if raytracing is broken or not since I haven't made a comparison, but nonetheless for me, the game runs fine with everything maxed out on 1440p (using balanced DLSS and frame generation) with a 4080 & i9 9900k.
It's probably not easy to get a game with these graphics running great on every system combination out there on day one and I am sure that it will get better over the next few days.

Early Access Review
Even in it's current state, the game is absolutely awesome! Maybe there were some few bugs here and there but that's to be expected when playing EA. :)
I love the possibilities you have to solve the cases. I'll definitely come back to this game regularly.
Can't wait to see the future updates and hopefully steam workshop support! :)

Admittedly, the start was really bumpy and hammered the ratings into the ground. The general performance is unfortunately still not very good after the first update, which fixed the stuttering... although sometimes it still jerks when a new area is loaded or new objects spawn. I always fluctuated somewhere between 30 - 80 fps. At the beginning, the framerate in the prison is really terrible, then it gets better ... but later there are sections where it's back to a constant 30 fps and I'm playing on a 3080.

I'll take a look after the second update whether and what has improved. Will edit then.

Other than that, I really enjoyed the game. The world looks really good, the graphics are just top notch and I'm sure the performance won't be so terrible after a few updates.

I really enjoyed the feeling of playing a new Dead Space title. You could clearly tell that they had their fingers in the pie. I love the gore effects, but I miss the blade arms from the Dead Space enemies to impale others with. :D

I also like the melee combat system. It seems really massive when you hit the enemies. Yes, it's a bit repetitive, but there's not that much you can do about it either and it didn't really bother me. I just had fun beating up the infected.

I think the enemy design in general is very cool, though I would have liked a bit more variation at times. A few different designs of the two-headed "boss" enemy wouldn't have been bad, for example, to avoid giving you the feeling of just doing the same thing over and over again.

The story isn't too bad either in my opinion. I like how you put all the clues together at the end to figure out what happened there. Among other things, with the help of the holotapes (where I wish you could listen to them while walking around). Also though the ending is a bit meh.

I really hope that the average ratings will go up again, because the game doesn't really deserve so much negativity. :)

I would always recommend this game.
I've played it on the PS4 and will do it again here on PC.
The graphics were great on console and now it's even better. :)
Great story, great gameplay and awesome setting. Who doesn't like shooting arrows at giant Mecha-dinosaurs?
Playing on 1080p Ultra with ~70-90 fps on an RTX 2070 & i7-9700k (5 GHz). Thats fine for me, no stuttering and feels smoother than on console.

Haven't played much yet, but I can already tell that it's going to be one of the best Assasins Creed games I've played.
