Existence and experience are coexistent. There would be no existence without consciousness to experience it, and there would be no consciousness without existence to spawn it. We create our own reality by the words and thoughts into which we categorize it, by the emotions we choose to experience or from which we bar ourselves. You, like most people, have probably learned to detach yourself from your own emotions of which you are capable, forcing you to live life on an entirely rational level. Music is so simple and innocent that it breaks this barrier and allows you to feel basic melancholy and joy again. It allows you to put yourself in the place of a simple animal observing nature and allowing it to have its impression on you, whatever it may be.
