The flame beanie aka “liekkipipo” is, as others have mentioned, a reference to some addict “style”. It’s often combined with some sporting sunglasses, also known as “pirikiikarit”, “piri” meaning the drug speed, and “kiikarit” being binoculars. I’m not sure how often you actually see someone sporting this, but it’s clearly lore! You could also try the outfit without shirt and/or shoes with rotten pair of jeans.

But “sairaan nopee” landed in Finnish popular culture from the Kummeli tv-series, where the metal heroes Speedy and Saku shredded guitars with insane speeds. So that’s where the “sairaan nopee” comes from. Insane could be translated to “sairas” with a stretch.

However I believe there were few occasions where it was implied that maybe the two gents had a bit of problem with some substance abuse, so it still could point to some more sinister meanings
