I would recommend Niche to everyone, even to people like me, who don't really know much about genetics. Why? Because it's fun. Breeding the cutest animals and trying to survive with your pack (I never got so far as to "breed special genes") is quite challenging and never lets you settle down, as the game progress is face-paced and you need to move from place to place. Now my personal story:
> had 3 packs: the blind ones I degenerated by mistake picking berries, the sick ones cracking nuts and the strong healthy ones living at the edge of the jungle, scouting and killing for meat
> my healthy tribes encounters an ape
> sacrifice few ones to lead it away
> it comes back
> my sick ones die out
> one healthy female makes it to the blind tribe
> she mates with every degenerated male I got
> the blind ones saved the pack
> they can't move because they're all blind.

tl;dr: it's amazing, cute, and still continually improved. Highly addictive. Love it.

I really like this game and I wish there were more people playing it. Hopefully, after the devs put their heart into it, it will survive. It's a fun substitute of Overwatch, when it comes to the dynamics of the game, but really nothing like Overwatch at the same time.
It has a lot of potential and I'd tell everyone, who's considering giving it some time, do it!

I bought this game shortly after it came out. I didn't really understand why was everyone so mad about it – it was a chill, space exploring game, little bit repetitive, but definitely fun to play at the beggining. Then it really stopped feeling "new", because every planet was just the same thing in different colours.

But unlike other game developers, these guys actually listened to all these negative reviews and tried their best to save the game. It definitely could have saved them a lot of trouble, if the game came out now, being finally very diversive in terms of things to do. But well, pressure and hype mixed together did what they did.

Now it really feels like your travelling actually matters and the lifeforms around you finally do not look the same. I also really appreciate all the sounds effect implemented; when the Vyk'something alien growls at me, I feel very, very nervous, just as when the animals I'm passing by make weird warning noises.
I haven't got to making the base yet, as I'm searching for some nice planet to settle down on, but all in all, I'm looking forward to continue exploring this game.
It still could do with little more polishing, but it's on the right track. Not sure if it's worth being 60E title, when compared to Witcher 3, used-to-be 60E title as well, but on the other hand it's still being developed.

I like goats so I bought this game.

I loved this game so much I fear I have no bad things to say about it. It has detailed graphics, smooth storyline (well if war, death and treason can be called "smooth"), interesting characters and a lot of side quests. Also achievements for some actions you do in-game, so if youre competitive, you have a lot of work to do!
It reflects the middle-ages atmosphere very well, mostly in language, clothing and the general way of thinking. It is no fairytale, so you dont have to be worried about bad witches and heroic Geralt. You get to see sex probably more than youd like and expect.
Another thing that Id like to point out is that your decisions truly do shape the game, and even the things you say can lead you to a different situations.
And one last thing for all the girl-gamers out there- Triss is not his soulmate. Im sorry too.

I honestly think that this game is way better than some more popular games and I do not see the reason why is it not played more. It is fun, relaxing, nice graphic, fun "story"-more or less- and easy to learn. It is typical dungeon game and would be so much funnier with more people, since it does have multiplayer, the problem is, there never is anyone. Im giving this game a thumb up and I hope they will work on it a little more and make it more popular, because this game earns it.
If you fancy magic and smooth, colorful graphic while you shoot green balls on chickens and ghosts, you will like this!

Love it. The makers really did an amazing effort.
