Can you please stop adding new achievements to force players to come back to your game? It was cool, we played and now we're done with it, just let it die...

Bought the game in a sale and just now decided to give it go. Looks good overall but the UI is extremely small in 4k. This has been a problem since forever and the developer does not want to solve this issue. Text scaling does nothing to help as icons and whatnot are still f***ing small. Wish I could ask for a refund but I missed the timing on this one. As of right now, game is unplayable in 4k resolution and the suggestion is that you lower the resolution to full hd. *insert clown emoji here*

A must play if you're a fan of the series. Managed to keep gameplay refreshing even after 4 installments. Definitely worth the price and time

I was really excited to play this game but I couldn't even bring myself to even complete the tutorial on this bug-ridden game.

My pc was struggling to run it on low and I got an rtx 2060. There were lag spikes every few seconds.

The controls on this game are absolute garbage, it seems your camera has physics, so you move the mouse, the camera start rotating and after a few milliseconds it completes de movement, it's absolute garbage specially with the lag spikes, remember that? Yeah, when a lag spike happens you start overshooting the target and it becomes IMPOSSIBLE to aim properly. I really don't get how this game manages to be soooo poorly optimized

Also there is a HUGE unecessary intro for the game, it's cute for a few minutes and then it becomes infuriating, JUST LET ME PLAY. But alas, once you take control there is another tutorial, and another and another and progress is not saved.

Also there is no FOV slider on this game, which leads to some serious warping on the edges of my ultra wide monitor. Stay away from this piece o crap game

First time I've seen a car not start because suspension was worn out... You can't properly diagnose what's wrong with the car without buying every tool, you can't buy every tool without money, you can't earn money if you don't finish a job, you can't finish a job because you don't have all the tools. Progression in this game is completely abysmal.

It's fun and engaging when a list is provided or when you can test drive the car or use tools and obd scanner to find out what's wrong. Jobs should be locked off until you have the tools to diagnose the problem.

EDIT: On inspect mode you can click and hold to inspect A FEW parts, but you still need the tools to get the whole picture

Story quests should be blocked until you have X amount of money to work on the car, without delving into the job you have no idea how much money you'll sink into it. It's easy to run out of money in the middle of a car fix and then having to take 20 fluid/filters jobs to buy the parts to keep working on the first job

Engine sounds are awful as well. They are all very generic and bad quality, they rarely match the revs.

All in all it's a fun game, but you gotta be prepared to hit your head against the wall often

"Skyrim in space", a classic bethesda game, bugs and rich story included, as always. Definitely worth it's price

There was an update with new content and redone animal system. I very much recommend this game right now. There is enough to keep you entertained for a while. It is still short and I'd like to see some random levels, but I understand that is a difficult technical challenge.

This is a very sincere review. I'd like to clarify from this moment that the game is good. I enjoyed it very much, but there are certain aspects that need to be addressed before I can fully recommend this game.

Overall, I'd say I'm on the fence between recommend and not recommend, and here are the reasons.

I DO recommend the game if: you are seeking a new experience different from pretty much all games out there, you have the money to spare, you like zen games, you like puzzle games, you don't get frustrated restarting the game from zero, and you don't mind the game being short.

I DON'T recommend it if: you are looking for a 20+ hour experience, you want variety and replayability, you are on the fence about whether you like the idea or not, and you don't have the money to spend on this game without regretting the purchase.

All in all, the game is very fun. There are only four regions/themes/ecosystems, and each one of them presents its own challenges and mechanics. The game has three difficulty levels. I played on medium, and it felt very easy. Don't be fooled; this isn't a completely zen game. It is much more of a puzzle experience with rewarding visuals and sound effects for solving every piece of it. The game does a very good job of explaining the mechanics and guiding you through the objectives. I only felt lost once on the last level, but it was a brain fart on my part.

GAMEPLAY: At the start of a level, you recover toxic land and rivers by scrubbing toxins and irrigating the soil to create grass as groundwork for the next phase. In phase 2, you start shaping the land by using machines to create different varieties of biomes, and you're also controlling humidity and temperature while expanding the green land to the edges of the map. In phase 3, you are spotting animals by scanning regions of the map. Every animal requires a different combination of biomes, requirements, and sometimes temperature. There are six animals, and you need to spot at least three. The game is very generous on this end because until you get to this phase, you don't know the requirements, which encourages replayability but in a bad manner. In phase 3, you are also scraping all your buildings so when you leave the area there are no buildings left. After all that, you leave the area and move to the next level while the game gives you a zen view of all you've accomplished.

Here's why I won't recommend the game for now: it's very short. I finished it in under 4 hours, and the game is relatively expensive for this length. What I would like to see is more levels. The game doesn't need more mechanics; it needs more variety, more combinations of those mechanics and themes. I would like to see a daily or weekly challenge map with hand-crafted challenges, support for mods, DLCs, and updates. The game has huge potential to be such a big hit if it gets a bit more work. I hope this review gets to the developers because I really want to see this game reach its full potential. If you can, please mark this review as helpful.

EDIT 1: It took me less than 7 hours to complete 100% on medium, including the variants of each level. All that is left now is only 4 achievements

Police AI is broken, don't even attempt to race past level 3, a couple of bumps and your car is already wrecked. This is extremely frustrating because to progress you need a LOT of exp, and the heat level is the multiplier, so you either grind or take the risk, get busted and receive only 1x the exp, it's a complete bullsh!t system and it's not fun. Specially when you are winning a race then suddenly all cops on the map target you and make you lose the race because they got corvettes and keep crashing you constantly

I have played plenty before in the Epic Store, this game is the only chill game that manages to stress me out. It doesn't require 100% efficiency all the time and doesn't require you to build eye candy factories with walls and well placed belts, but I MUST do it. Jokes aside, this game is great, there is always something to do, the game starts real simple but starts getting harder and more complex the more you build your factory. Resources are infinite, what makes your progress slower is the mining speed and distance to ore nodes, this makes you think about logistics and resource allocation. This game has more depth than Factorio, but combat is not really a focus of the game and never will be, the devs said so, but it doesn't detract from the overall gameplay. You can just idle in a corner and expect your factory to be just as you left it, which is a big plus. If you like automation games, this one is a MUST PLAY
