While I to agree with some of the negatives (limited mech customization), this was to be expected.
The game revolved around a cinematic-story driven campaign which is extremely refreshing for a MW game, not a sandbox, so don't expect otherwise.

I enjoy a good custom mech free of restraints and flaws as much as the next guy, don't get me wrong, but there is something great about flawed and crappy mechs that is very enjoyable. The triangle (speed-armor-firepower) present in this game is quite evident, a compromise must be made before every drop, at least before assault class. Range and speed are the Clan's greatest strength.

The story was solid, well executed and very loyal to the canon. It's not easy to cram so much in so little. I applaud PGI for the great game and very much looking forward for expansions and mod support.
