A nice little game that leaves you to your own devices with no hand-holding.
Alien art is distinct and obvious and shooting is satisfying.

Just don't get overran :).

Great game, however wish they didn't drop all the assets through an AI Upscaler.

I can't speak for everyone however I knew buying this I was buying a (rerelease with extra content) 2006 PS2 game. I was expecting everything in 480p. Alas.

Definitely an upgrade from Thief Simulator with a few minor issues.

Got a few possible ideas you could add:
Any chance you could display the Field of View (preferably in Vertical) in the settings?
Maybe a render distance setting (with a provided note about FPS impact) - as playing on a high field of view (especially on a 21:9 monitor) causes things to unload quite close to the camera.

I haven't played that much, but money seems really easy to get and the car no longer has a limit (seemingly?) on weight - plans to "re-add" car/van weight limits?

Otherwise honestly somewhat hyped for the full game.

I love it, (so far a) great sequel to DL1, for most people the biggest issue is performance however that's probably due to Denuvo, the piece of garbage it is.

It'd be nice if we could (re)bind mouse keys, such as Mouse 4 & 5 and path-finding (mainly human parkour) is a little buggy, but nothing some TLC can't fix.

I see a lot of criticism stating the game doesn't add much from the first, but parkour was enhanced and expanded, which is glaringly obvious from the start of the game.
Another is combat, it may not have the same *oomph* as DL1, its not a LITERAL nightmare to kill infected from the start - don't know if people remembered that zombies where virtually impossible to kill or if they all ran duped glitched items given by friends or something.

I may or may not update this review as time passes and updates happen - no matter your stance on this game, I still think its a worthy successor to DL1.

Early Access Review
Absolutely amazing, I've been waiting for this day for 3 years.

AI is a little jank, occasionally getting stuck and pushing you into fire fights, but I assume, nothing they can't tweak/change over time.

It's Free, it's effectively Maya 3DS MAX and it's open source!

What more could you want.
