It is a perfect game.
It was the first one-player game I played after getting steam, if I recall correctly, and I must say that I chose my games very well.
I have this game, and Valve as a company (and Nintrendo) to thank for bringing me joy, and a glance into what videogaming could be, if the creator is creative and tallented enough.
I strive to one day publish a game that I can be proud of, as undoubtedly the Valve team working on this game was.

The portal mechanic works flawlessly, which is to be expected, but not entirely without questioning if you ask me. It is amazing how they made it so perfect, that I'm still scratching my head about what kind of a magic spell they used. If the portal mechanic wasn't flawless, the world would not have been as emersive as it is, and I feel sadness for even thinking of a reality where the young me was playing Portal 2 for the first time, trying to figure out how the portals worked, and even sort of understand how they were made, just by looking at them.

It is the most immersive level-based game of all time, and I am truly happy to have this game as a reference for when designing my own games.
