Very cozy typing game! The concept and sound effects are great, and I like all of the customization you can do with the cursor types/colors/sound effects/etc.

My only complaint is that I seem to get lag spikes every once in a while and it doesn't register the key press. I have a mechanical keyboard, so I can hear the physical key click, but no audio feedback in game and the letter doesn't type. The skipped keys throw me out of my flow state more than the mistypes because it feels a little jarring to not get feedback for a key press. If you're just playing casually and don't really care about your stats then it's not a problem, but if you play the hardcore mode or are trying to improve, it can be frustrating. Hope this gets fixed!

Early Access Review
I don't usually buy early access games, but I saw a stream of it on twitch and got interested, and then found out Excession mapped some of the ost and was sold lol.

This is such a fun game and I really like the devs and community! It's one of the first times I've joined a game's discord and immediately felt like part of the community from day 1 (even before getting a chance to try the game first!). The devs are super open to suggestions and are very responsive to feedback, and I really like how transparent they are about what they're working on and what's coming down the pipe (e.g. they made their trello board viewable to the public and are constantly updating us on the status of things).

A lot of people compare it to beat saber, but the gameplay feels very different to me. It feels much lighter and not as hard on my wrists, since I only need to bounce off the tops of the drums instead of swinging all the way through. The game runs a lot smoother than BS for me as well, and I really like that they made performance-oriented environments too. It makes streaming so much easier on my pc! Also there's a cat named Pupa that runs with you while you play and you can pet her in the lobby and she purrs and gives you hearts! c: Oh and also the ost is actually good, which is something else that separates it from BS lol.

One of the absolute coolest things to me is that there's custom song support and they licensed 250 songs (100 FiXT and 150 Camellia) for community mapping, so they can officially support their mapping community and host and advertise the maps for those songs! I think it's a great idea and I really hope they can continue with this model, since it also means that content creators can monetize their videos of those maps and don't have to worry about DMCA. Being able to play customs on stream without having to worry about DMCA is SO nice. You can also suggest additional songs/artists for them to license, and there's a donation bucket specifically for custom song licensing that the community can contribute to for helping out with that!

I'm really looking forward to seeing where this game goes, and I definitely recommend trying it out and joining the discord, even if you aren't sure you'll like it. There's a bunch of different ways you can play (dance, acc, challenge, etc) and the devs are always looking for suggestions/feedback on what they can improve to make it more enjoyable for people.
