Already a classic.

Not kidding when I say that this should be right up there with the likes of DOOM, QUAKE and DUSK. Everything from the fast-paced gameplay, over the top cutscenes, enemy design to the voice acting and OST is top tier.

Funny how indie devs can make AAA looking games that

1) controls well
2) runs well on launch, even on my admittedly mid tier hardware
3) is finished
4) has no microtransactions
5) has no predatory practices
6) has all the promised features (and more)

While actual AAA publishers got no problems putting out unfinished cash grabs.


The game itself is everything you'd want if you're into games like FEAR, Max Payne, Stranglehold etc. Wish it does well so we see more indie passion products like this instead of soulless corpo bloatware

This game has bots that you match up against in multiplayer for whom none of the game rules apply. They can play the perfect counter to whatever you cards you're playing and make sure you lose, no matter how good you play. I suspect the developers added this to make you lose and to force your hand to make you buy better cards as soon as they get released to give yourself a fighting chance.

It's also scummy how, once any of the newly released cards get cheaper and accessible for those who don't want to pay, they nerf the card making it way less viable than what it was before.

I like playing the game but this has got to change.

Hopefully they fix the optimization issues soon

you can backflip while dual wielding shotguns and shooting cult dudes

they dont make games (or devs) like this anymore
