Made by devs that truly love the game and the community. You come for the Dwarves and Bug stomping, you stay for the Beer and dancing with friends.

Combat is like butter, its even better when you matrix backbend underneath someone's swing and then beat him to death with your bare fists.

Some tips or newbies:
*Horse combat can seem broken, but hitting f with a long enough weapon allows you to one tap enemies
*If you gotta one on one, feigning can turn the tide and win you the fight, don't bother on anything more than that.
*Kicks can throw off anyone with a shield.

Firepots are still bs.

If you got some boys to play with, lot of fun.
If you don't, you still got your Legolas body pillow to keep you company while fighting Uruks.
Just don't touch the Israeli Hash and you'll be good to go.

An extremely difficult learning curve with a great satisfying feel after a well planned and enacted battle, or nail biting escape.
With events and different randomized characters to recruit for your mercenary party, no two games are alike. Though difficult, it proves to be entertaining time and time again.

A fantastic sequel for the ultra violent predecessor including a whole new cast of characters with their own stories and styles of gameplay. Still having the one hit death, nothing beats killing white suited gangsters while wearing a zebra mask.

A dark and twisting adventure filled with eldritch horrors, deadly traps and crtitical hits (I hate those the most). But the greatest horror is not physical damage (It still is very important) but within the minds of your party's adventurers. They can go insane under stress and have nasty quirks that can hinder progress, like your men stealing loot for themselves with kleptomanina (I'm looking at you Dismas); yet they can learn from the stress and perform better than before and have quirks that help the party on their mission. Perma death is prevealent and tears are shed. As the name suggests, the dungeon is quite dark and has an intriguing system for that, the Light Meter; Brighter light means a better chance to get the drop and enemies and scout ahead in the winding corridors and halls, while a dimmer or snuffed out light means more difficult encounters, more stress, and more accurate enemies, but greater loot and higher crit rate (This will save your ass so many times). With all told above, one question remains, do you have the gawl to enter the Darkest Dungeon?

P.S. Blights suck.

Another installment to the classic alien killing RPG, XCOM. A turn based shooter mixed with elements of mangement of the HQ makes this a memorable and exceedingly fun.
