I've only just started but I know this is the real thing. The first one was a masterpiece, even with its rough edges (some of which were very rough), and now this game shows they've put some real hard work into making another brilliant medieval experience.

If you've liked the first one, you're gonna love this. And if you've never even played or finished kcd 1, try this one anyways, you won't regret it.

Also, the game runs beautifully and looks amazing on the Steam Deck.

Holy crap, what an amazing game. This is exactly how an open world game has to be made. No other game I've played made me feel this curious and interested with the story and the in-game world (technically universe).

It's an amazing, intense and unique experience. Please... at least try it out, you won't regret it.

I played it completely on my Steam Deck and it feels like this game was made for it.

I'm so happy I still have the whole DLC to play, I just don't want it to end! Hopefully we get another masterpiece from these devs someday!

It's almost as if making a great game with non-predatory monetization makes everyone happy and really want to support the developers. We need more games like this and less stupid live service games.

I've just started playing it, but I can already tell this game is special. The atmosphere is spot-on, and even though the maps feels a little small, the gameplay experience with friends is amazing.

Completely not worth it. It's basically stealing your money.

1 year after release, the game is still not fully baked, but it's certainly been in the oven, specially these last few months. With the October update adding a Server Brorwser, Voice chat and a UI redesign, I think the game will finally be in the state it should have launched in.

And not only that, the new gameplay direction seems to be going great, with the Armor 2.0 update planned in December by Almir and Andreas. We're on a great path, hopefully it stays that way. I want my payday two, i mean, three.

The third installment follows the trend of great improvements and unique addditions to the series, now with multiple endings and deeper lore! It's not easy at all to make three good games in a row (and part of the same series!), but Fireproof Games shows that they know what they are doing, and they absolutely nailed it.

As I said with the previous installments, a must play.

Simple but deep game, with two great and impactful interactive stories (there's a third one which I haven't played yet). In some ways, it reminds me of Seen, a mobile game (which I also recommend you try if you haven't played). If you think you might enjoy this game, give it a shot!
