One of the best MetroidVania games I've played in a long time.

There are so many layers of exploration that it never felt boring having to go back through old areas, I was actually excited to re-explore or make plans on which places I would try to go to next.

I personally am not a 100%er, and I'm glad I still felt satisfied with what I was able to complete.

Game is pretty much completely done after 3 days, which is very short for an idle game. Game systems abruptly end and have nothing else to do so no more progression (nothing to do with all your money, nothing to do with excess collected poop, etc.). I only left it running for the achievements. No appeal to start a new farm (new farms just have obstacles to make your life harder but since there's no end-game progression then it's just simply new farms to make your life harder).

One of the best designed games I've experienced ever.
From obvious things like great hand-drawn graphics and amazing voice acting and story telling
to subtle things like how every enemy you fight is subtly teaching you how to fight the upcoming boss.
This game is filled with details and polish and rewarding progression.
Easily one of the best games I've played.

Update: After getting every achievement and 83 hours of gameplay, easily my Game of the Year.

People call this factorio-lite, which honestly in many ways makes it a good thing. Easy to pick up, and the tower defense element is always a great thing for fans of the genre.
Factorio is great for deep systems and being okay with committing to one map for several sessions. Mindustry is great for getting you up and running quickly and you'll be able to get one or two maps done in a single session. Both great games for different needs.

One of the most active "idle" games I've played. Content isn't the longest but it was very fun along the way. One of the best loot-loops I've experienced, I was always moving from goal to goal with almost no waiting.
