I have little tolerance for rouge like games because I hate losing everything I’ve worked to get. However, the designers of this game struck a very good balance between that and giving you a fair chance. When you die, it sucks but you don’t feel like you were screwed.

The more I play the more nice touches I notice:
  • You can exit the game and come back to your exact location if you are in the middle of a run and need a break.
  • Directional door and item graphics pop up on the edge of the screen when you’ve cleared a room.
  • If you are low on health and left some in another room, you can see which room has it on the mini-map.
  • Display scaling…a game designer that accommodates a player’s desire for how large to make items on a screen should be rewarded.

This ‘not normal for me’ game is excellent. The price for admission was worth the price and I’m glad I purchased it.

This is the best platformer I've played in a long time. It doesn't disrespect your time and allows saving almost everywhere.

Least favorite thing: No places to save during the 'chapter end' levels.

Creative use of an imaginary language.

Excellent story.

Good variety of levels and powers/abilities.

Fun!

This tower defense game is pretty awesome and surprisingly deep. I think the graphics could be better but the gameplay more than makes up for it.
