With over 320 hours played, I can say single player is OK. Worth it. But if you want to play multiplayer ESPECIALLY greater than 2v2 - DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I can honestly say this game is an unbalanced mess. There's no way I could recommend this game if you were looking to play this online with your friends. The game came out what a decade ago? And yet here we are in 2021, and they are STILL attempting to balance basic units. Never mind, the absolutely clustrf*ck that is the commanders (microtransactions) in this game. Anyone, including the devs, who thinks they know this game so well they can effectively balance this game is lying to you. They cant, and for good reason. They tried to violently cram microtransactions (commanders etc) into an RTS and it has failed. If it was purely cosmetic like SC2 probably no problem, but when you create the additional variables that comes into the overall gameplay by offering commanders with a myriad of different special abilities.. all of which were created after the game launched purely so they could make more money yeah... in 3v3 or 4v4 with 2 or 3 other commanders.. YEA, GOOD LUCK BALANCING THAT SHT FAM. lol.

single player - OK
multiplayer - 1v1 OK, 2v2 maybe, 3v3 Forget it, 4v4 I would rather tie a rope to my d1ck and jump from a tree.

Also hackers be hacking. Theres map hacks and all kinds of BS that apparently no one wants to talk about, and it 100% exists. There is software out there u can download that removes fog of war etc and I'd say its fairly widespread, And you will definitely see it in game.

You've been warned.

I never played any of the other Rising Storms, but I can honestly say that for the money, this is the best shooter I've played in years. More fast paced then ARMA, but more tactical then Battlefield for roughly the price of a meal at Macca's. The atmosphere this game provides is amazing, the addition of music from the era is a really nice touch, furthermore, it engages players and forces them to work together in a way that you rarely see with other games. Brilliant title here from Tripwire, and a great community to match. Highly recommended.

If your into Cyberpunk, then this is a must have. Stylistically it's spot on, aesthetically it does the job even in 2017/18, and the single player campaign if given a chance is a worthwhile play, and with the right friends multiplayer is a lot of fun also. It's not perfect, but it doesnt try to be anything it's not and what it does it does well.

Fans of the genre will appreaciate the attention to detail such as in-game billboards that advertise an upcoming LazerHawk album for example.
