i couldnt get into it, everything just felt like work, dyson sphere project had more addicting gameloop for me

WARNING: It's short. I completed it in 4 hrs.

But it's good. hotline miami aesthetic, psych thriller story, feels like it was sort of left open to be resolved in DLC on purpose though. I feel better paying the price for this than I did for getting My Friend Pedro.

Looking forward to more though.

The game is great, scratches the same itch as hotline miami but in a platforming bullet time style. My only gripe is it's super short; I'd wait for a 50% off sale or something, I don't think it's worth 20$ as is.

i think overall, this game is a yes, but some of the core mechanics and control systems are very poorly explained to the user if at all.

i find navigation, clicking, selecting minions and stuff to be very confusing. It operates differently above and below ground. Maybe a better tutorial would help here. I have kinda intuited how to specify where to build/clear, how to cancel that.

also some mechanics that aren't explained at all. units have hunger and sleep %'s but I don't know if 100% is full or starving. and I dont know how to resolve it. i think i jus pick them up and put them in the farm or in a matching bed?

Also, like it's weird underground you have to open up some menu to click a button to grab your whole army and then start dropping them on intrders. feels like that should be a very accessible button.

that stuff aside, the core mechanics are fun and satisfying. Would like it to be a bit easier to maintain groups of units instead of having to get frantic as soon as someone enters your dungeon or someone takes over your island of evil.

idk what im doin wrong but im just missing all the hype. its repetitive slow uninformative and im not clear what half of it means. T_T i wish i liked it more or knew what i was doing wrong tho
