Early Access Review
This is a cool project. I love the art style and the general aesthetic it achieves as a 90s throwback. Is it there yet? Most certainly not. Should you get it? Right now I'd only pick this up if you enjoy the experience of seeing a project travel through early access. There's a lot that can be done to improve the gameplay loop and make it more engaging. The racing feels cool and the AI cars are fun to be amongst, but it is not easy to win or even get close to the front. The driving mechanics feel a bit half baked currently, but I'm excited to see where it goes.

Absolutely incredible. Don't listen to the 'its too hard' crew, it's not, they are just weak. Yes it skill checks you hard early on, but If you beat Mohg to get here then you'll be fine. Easily the best dlc / add-on pack of all time.

Actually awesome. At first I wondered if I'd still got it, but then when you remind yourself how to do a vert into a switch into a manual it becomes the most addictive loop ever. Most of the original music is still here too, easily one of the most iconic game soundtracks of all time.

Fun and addictive combat mechanics, stunning art direction and world building. Tough when you start out but incredibly rewarding when you eventually become tough enough. Needs a fast modern PC. I originally played it on an 8 year old i7 / GTX1070, and although it was perfectly playable, there were stutter issues. Now that I'm playing on a new RTX3060 laptop the game looks stunning and runs at a locked 60. Don't let the whole fromsoft difficulty thing put you off, there are several elements within the game that allow you to make it much easier for yourself. All in all an all time classic not to be missed.

One of the most artistically ambitious projects ever made, Cyberpunk looks & sounds awesome. The sheer level of detail the artists have poured into this is mindblowing, From a visual standpoint alone, it is a masterpiece.

It is a shame then that the scope of the game just isn't what CDPR advertised at us for all these years. This is not a deep RPG. I was expecting a narrative I could get lost in, where my choices would seriously effect the path of play. In actuality it is more of an FPS with RPG mechanics tied to the levelling. Whilst it does have a huge variety of quests with a decent amount of story, it all seemed skin deep, and it didn't appear that my unique actions bore many consequences.

Also well documented are the many areas in which this game attempts to be GTA but just feels half baked. I've played for almost 100 hours and the police have never once seriously threatened me. This is an element of the game which could make the central loop so much more entertaining if it posed some sort of threat. As it stands the AI can be fairly laughable and utterly none-threatening.

So do I recommend this? Like I said at the top, if you just want to cruise around an incredibly pretty artistic wonderland, then you can't really do better than this. The visuals are incredible. Regarding everything else, set your expectations a few steps lower than what the pre-release hype would have you believe. I'm excited that they are going to continue working on the game and to see where it eventually goes. With a bit more work this could be the game we want it to be. Perhaps hold off until they do a no man's sky and turn this ship around.

One of my favourite games of all time. It's That Good! Manic arcade pinball with an infusion of bullet hell. If you like frantic arcade action then you'll love it.

Incredibly poignant hard science fiction with Kojima's signature weird-AF storytelling, however the writing and performances here are so much more accomplished and together than his previous works. Amazing sound design, incredible visuals, a unique and fun central gameplay loop, and much more of a MGS game than it probably appears. Naturally the whole thing references Kojimas previous work in grand fashion throughout. Personally it invoked a strong feeling of Fallout 3 in places - wandering a vast, dead wasteland. I really like that vibe.
