Left 4 Dead 2 The Legendary Co-Op Game

One of the best co-op games ever made, this game nails everything it has to offer. Having a handful of interesting and well-designed maps, 8 cool characters, with a great weapons variety, this game never fails to entertain the player. Combine all these with the community mods, the content of this game is endless, there are lots of add-on maps, weapon skins and tons of other mods that can be downloaded for free, and will give this game a refreshing feel. There are a bunch of different game modes to entertain different types of players, campaign, versus, survival, etc. Which are all fun and entertaining. Comparing to the first game, there are more death animations for zombies, the AI is drastically improved and there are new enemy types. The attention to details is what gives this game a soul. There are a few things that have been downgraded from the first game, like the infinite shove, they nerfed shoving and gave it a cool down to justify the existence of melee weapons, which is not necessarily a bad thing, the first game has 2 different reload animations for guns but they reduced it to 1 in the second game. But these are negligible and can be fixed with mods.

If you are looking for a co-op game to play with friends with infinite amount of content and you love zombie games, this is the perfect game for you.

Left 4 Dead The Vanilla Experience

This is the true version of Left 4 Dead, simplistic and well-polished. Most people say you don't need this because every map is ported to Left 4 Dead 2, well that's not so wrong but it's not a good reason to skip this one. It's better than Left 4 Dead 2 in many aspects, guns are so much more satisfying, no annoying special infected like Jockey and Charger which ruin the fun of Left 4 Dead 2. The pistols are way better than the second game, and server latency is lower. All the maps are great and the characters are very likeable.

I'd recommend trying this before playing the second game, because clearly the gameplay is somewhat different and it has it's own feeling.
