It has some wonky stuff and the story + voiceacting is below average. The vehicles handle like sh*t and I stopped using them after a while. There is alot of reused assets so if you have seen one house you have seen them all kind of. That's the bad stuff.

The good stuff however is more then the bad for me. The atmosphere is crazy good. It's almost kind of creepy sometimes. As a swede they really captured swedish countryside and also the season with rain/snow. Game looks good still after all these years. There is alot of cosmetics to find. Like A LOT. You can craft resistances on any piece of clothing so you can look however you want from your unlocked cosmetics. The endgame loop is fun as you raise threat level in a zone, hunt down rivals, attack/defend bases and stuff to get that good loot. There's unique weapons (experimental versions) and some are crazy good. Lots of collectibles to find if that's your cuppa.

TLDR: Worth playing for atmosphere, combat and general feel.

I like it more then I thought I would actually.

It's hard to shut out all negative stuff. It's hard to have faith in EA/Bioware after last couple of years.
But it's actually much better then I anticipated.

Story seems okish so far. Some writing / dialouge is kinda' bad but it's not horrible and some of it is good. I am curious about where the story goes and what choices I will have to make. There's already been quite a few after only 5 hours.

Combat is really great. Fluid and flashy. I really think they nailed it and it's a huge step-up from DA:I that tried to be more action-like.

Maps are not open but have enough exploration that you do need to look around and find loot. Itemization is a standard aRPG/MMO formula with rarity, stats and stuff. Nothing special but it looks ok so far. I assume there will be unique / legendary loot later on.

Companions are good (so far as I only have 3) and even the one many seem to be annoyed by I don't mind.

For now it's probably a 7 or 8. Might go up or down but I really recommend it if you're into RPGs with actionlike combat. Do yourself a favor and ignore all hate that this game seems to get from so many. I really don't see any of it being justified if you are 1) a gamer and 2) a normal decent human. Just watch some gameplay and judge from what you see. For me it's so far a really fun and engaging game, no GOTY but still very fun and one of the better I played this year.

Just leaving a positive review to combat all negative.

Game is really fun and good. It totally rips of stuff from Warframe (and icons from Destiny I read). To me it feels like a mix of warframe and outriders. Two games I spent a lot of time with. With that said, the grind is real and they totally want you to pay for stuff. It's just not cosmetic in the shop. It's pretty much exactly like Warframe where you can farm ingame until your eyes bleed or pay for that prim...err... ultimate descendant. Big difference is that there is no trade like in warframe, however they said they are implementing trade between players so we'll see.

With that out the way.

Game is free and you don't have to pay anything to enjoy it. If you like warframe / outriders then give it a go.

Negative reviews: DLC is too hard. (spoiler: It's not).

I'm really NOT into souls games and Elden Ring was the first one I actually managed to beat. I have one main boss left in DLC. Yes I use summons, I use a cheesy build, I use the new blessings... with all that it's not too hard. It's actually perfect challenge for a casual boomer like me.

This was one of the most immersive openworld games I have played. Game developers (as if any game dev sees this lol). Take a lesson on how to design a world, system, cinematography with a minimal UI by looking at Ghosts of Tsushima.

Combat is fluid and awesome. Exploration is great. Story has laughther, tears, twists and everything in between.

It runs flawless for me on a RTX2060 on medium/high settings. I wish I could play this again for the first time. DLC was ok (I did it after main game) but I did enjoy main story more.

It's like the first. But better in almost every single way.

For those that didn't played the first, it's an open-world adventure game with some light RPG mechanics. It has some great exploration and so far it feels way more fun and rewarding in this sequel. Combat is good and you will get several different weapons (mostly ranged) as you play. The setting is in a post-apocalyptic world where humans are more or less tribal, and the wild is roamed by animallike machines. Story is decent so far as I am writing this but I am barely past the tutorial zone. First game felt like it had a way better start but the story in this game feels good enough so far.

I play in 1080p with a RTX2080 and Ryzen 5 3600. So not a beast but I get 60 fps mostly running game in medium/high and it looks fantastic. Only fps drops is in cutscenes for some reason. Maybe they will patch that.

TLDR: It's good,

It feels a bit like playing Starfield without the multi-million dollar paint, spaceships and loadingscreens. But the jank is there, the bugs, the mess when it comes to quests and AI. Difference is this game actually has more soul and heart and I can appreciate it for what it is. Despite all the jank and stuff it's a solid RPG. Not a future Gothic II classic. But still fairly good if you enjoy open-world RPGs in the style of PB.

I am not a Rocksteady Arkham games/DC diehard fan so thought the story was fine. Better then I expected after seeing all negative feedback. Game itself feels like a mix of borderlands / Marvel's avengers and all delivered in a nice package. Just started the endgame and, like many said, it is repetitive with little to no variation on missions / enemies. I don't really mind it at the moment since game is new, gameplay is solid and lootgrind is fun. Also more stuff coming in march already so I have hopes for it to remain fun and a game you hop on once in a while. All characters felt fine but I played 95% as Harley so can't really say how balanced the characters are. Game runs fine on medium for me and I have only a RTX 2060 (6GB).

If you like liveservice lootgames with a colorful/chaotic style like Borderlands and are a fan of superheroes then it's a solid game worth a buy. If not get it on sale down the road.

Yes. This is nice. It's like the Valheim I wanted.

Only built my first house, explored a bit, tried some different weapons but so far it feels great. Running a GTX2080 and all on quality, some fps dips but not that bad. I have great hopes in this game since I loved Portal Knights and it's made by the same devs.

Totally recommend if you enjoy crafting/survival with some light RPG (skill tree and such).
