What a boring game. Yea I played only like 5 hours, but I have seen already everything the game has to offer after just the first hour of playtime...

It shares a lot of gameplay with the far cry games especially when it comes to gameplay diversity. Clear a place full of enemies and activate something. You know the deal.
What shrug me was that it is even more boring than the last few far cry games and they are truly abhorred games.
At least in far cry, there are somewhat interesting villains and a tiny bit of actual stealth gameplay.
The only good thing I can see is that it looks quite decent even today. This is the first game I played with HDR on a 4K screen tho. Animations, especially in cutscenes, are alright too and at least try to somewhat convey the emotions of the characters they show. Also, this being the first game I played from all the PlayStation Studios ports there are, gives me somehow a bad feeling that this gameplay will continue in other games from them.

This game should’ve stayed on the PS4. Don’t waste your money on it even when it’s on sale.

It is very short, so i would recommend you to just play it yourself.
Took me just about 1,5 hours of playtime.

The fact that it was made mainly from just one person is impressive by itself.
The story is also quite intriguing. Although this is a sequel, you can also start with either one since the story is well connected especially when it comes to the story of the main charackter. The gunplay is basic and the enemies AI cant do much and in the horde-mode can be made easy by crouch jumping into shelves aaaannd it only contains two maps.
First game is also short, so playing both would just take a few hours of your evening.
To throw out a word about the graphics. Its okay. The landscapes look amazing most of the time, models of the guns and many props aswell. The enemies not so much and it surely isnt taking full advantage of the UE4 engine. But again, it was made by mostly one person.

I duno it was just a short but fun experience.
I am excited for the third act and hope that it will keep the spirit of the first two games.

Don't waste your time with this.
Yea, there is Timesplitters 2 at the end of it all...
But why go through all of this trash when you can get TS2 from basically any ISO website?

Buy Forza Horizon instead.
Although i have only played 3 and 4, both are much better games and the fifth game looks just like its more of the same sooo... just pick the setting you think looks the coolest.

It really says something when they can throw out a product that had cost millions in production for 3 or 4 bucks.
'cause it sucks...

Here some other things you can buy for 4 bucks:
3 or 4 sweet buns and a milkshake from Lidl or Aldi for breakefast or as a snack.
A sketch book with some pencils and learn how to draw.
Any used copy of a Need for Speed game on ebay that was made before 2011.

...or just freakin' anything else that isn't this game ffs -.-

The Stardust Guardian is a JoJo Reference.

Repetitive as hell. Skip this game, go straight to the second game after you played Reach!
The only things I can remember from this game is that I was betrayed a few times by the 343 Pod thingy (quite ironic huh?) and that I blew a part of halo away which destroyed another part on its way through the galaxy.

The most diverse mission in the entire game was the last.
Let me tell you what happened in it.

So, you go to this one big ship and have to blow up Halo.
The self-destruction sequence is being triggered by the 343 Pod.
You have to flee from the ship.
The countdown for the self-destruction sequence is roughly 13 min but you can take your time.
Then you have to “repair” some air filters because of your allergies in the armory, why not buying Lorano Pro pills instead?
And then you flee from the ship with a car on a route without meaningful interruption on your way out.
Then you enter a ship which for some reason NONE of the covenants took while the Master Chief was away… WHAT THE FCKKKKK?!?!?!?!?!

And then you see how Halo is being destroyed which is the only cool looking scene from the entire game.
Master Chief says: "This is just the beginning...." while taking his helmet of.

And all of the other missions are basically go from A to B.

The graphics look bad in the remastered version but the original graphics mode is way too dark (EVEN WITH BRIGHTNES TO MAX AND GAMMA SET UP RIGHT.... ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥ MIND?!?!?!?)

Alright listen... I can definitely see how much it influenced the gaming industry and I would definitely recommend playing it if you’re slightly interested in gaming and especially for the older games. It was truly a game changer especially for console gaming, I’m not denying it...

But there are so many other games that have aged better even when they are older and even worse graphics but play so much better because they are much less repetitive and boring.
Best examples I can give you in the shooting genre would be the first Half Life and Serious Sam First Encounter. I KNOW SERIOUS SAM IS REPETETIVE AS HELL TOO! BUT both of those games have so many things making them interesting being the environment you’re playing in or just the diversity in the gameplay.
The only huge difference between them and the first Halo would be that you can drive and fly in this game.
And for the record. I played this game on Heroic. Alone. But I would say that my frustration during my playthrough didn’t influence my review that much. Okay, it probably made the bad things about the game stand out for me much more.

The music is forgettable except for the Menu Theme.

Again, just skip this one. And if you have played the first game before the second which the game recommends, please, tell me how much the f´d up first game made the second game look SOOO much better.

You could also just buy a pack of Uno cards instead and play with them. Alone. Still, a Much better deal.
