Hazelnut Hex is an homage to all of the best parts of retro gaming. The difficult gameplay, quirky characters, unique art style, fantastic music, and light-hearted story make for a bowlful of unforgettable goodness. Dig in and enjoy!

The monetized "Map Creator Season Pass" is an absolute joke. It costs 132 "coins" to get temporary access to anything more than the most basic objects. Coins may be purchased in increments of $9 for 125 coins (unfortunately 7 coins short of the cost... bummer!), or only $21 for 300 coins.

Community content in any other game is not only free to make (Distance, Rocket League, Halo), but sometimes has the potential of earning the creator money as well (DOTA, Fortnite).

Knowing that community creators were tricked into shelling out $20 to make anything even remotely interesting has made me lose all interest in this game even as a viewer. Oh well.
