Not the most complicated game you'll ever play but maybe one of the most poignant. A fantastic way to spend 8 hrs relaxing with puzzles in a gorgeous world filled with gorgeous sound design. Fantastic game.

Relentless synth drenched pixel carnage. What a rush this game is, one of the best arcade shooters ive ever played.

Probably one of the most comprehensively balanced multiplayer games ive played. The matchmaking seems to be spot on and matches are consistently tactical and thrilling. A huge variety of mech's backed up by an even larger variety of mods, addons, weapons. You can tweak your mech's to your preferred playstyle and more importantly, take premium Mech's out for trial. The community is great, the surrounding ecosystem of forums, Smurphys Mechlab and wide variety of clan specific pages remind me a lot of the commiunity around EVE.

Overall, one of the most consistently fun multiplayer experiences I have had. I dont even mind the grind for credits and skills simply because I get to drop into battles and mash other players in walking tanks bristling with lazers.

While its no Flatout, its not really meant to be. Much higher focus on customising your cars to specific race conditions. Much more emphasis on balancing your throttle and break pressures, I can only imagine what a kick this would be on a proper steering setup.

That said, the multiplayer is where its at, consistently been fortunate enough to race with great folks. Theres a good community springing up around Wreckfest now. No race is the same, the damage is so ridiculous you cant help but laughing your way through the later stages of a race.

Still missing my No Connection soundtrack but hey, you cant have everything in Alpha :)

Brilliant game, better that any of its predecessors by a considerable margin. Looks great, puzzle mechanics are engaging, gunplay is slick and satisfying. Plenty to collect and hunt for. All in all, A++. Havent had that much fun completing a game since Skyrim.
