This game is all about this review. See, I'm writing this because, during Black Friday 2016, Steam will give me a little badge for writing something. What is a Steam badge to me? Do I really care about it or is it just an excuse I create on my own, because it's fun to me? This review lacks any depth because my motives are shallow or am I so lazy, so apathetic, so weak, that I need whatever little motivation just to do what I want?

There are games that enslave you and games that make you more free as a person, as a human being. But, in the end, it comes down to the person playing the game. Are clicker games a game or a task? Why did the Pokemon GO phenomenon directly affect people's reality? I won't judge this ethically. I don't know if it's good or bad, but, aesthetically, some actions are uglier than others, sometimes you'll feel that you're wasting your time when playing a videogame and you're not even having fun. You're Stanley, you're just pressing buttons on your little office, isolated from the world.

You should immerse yourself in The Stanley Parable; it will enslave you and it will free you at the same time. Go on and follow the lines, press door 430 five times, play the stupid games that here are a sarcastic comment about fiction but in other games are considered the norm, and you'd just swallow them without questioning.

The Stanley Parable is the best investment of your money and your time. You won't get your money back but there is a possibility that you change and know yourself a bit more. You can also play it and say words like "mind♥♥♥♥" and "meta", usually accompanied with exclamation marks, that you will later vomit on the Internet as if you were a space monkey writing on Twitch.

Edit: this is officially the review I update for metathingys.
