first game i played through ng+ right after finishing it...

maybe because i got the bad ending (yes yes im stupid) or maybe because i loved the game so much.

probably a bit of both, either way very VERY good game and probably my game of the year (even though i already declared another game as game of the year, but stuff can change right?)

a worthy soulslike that fits right in with the fromsoft games.

game of the year for me (probably, havent finished it yet, 21 hours in at this point)

this game is just adorable, the art, music, animations, characters and story all feel very genuine and combined are a game where i never felt even slightly bored while playing it. i get how someone would dislike certain aspects, say the "gimmicky" combat or the writing/characters are very peculiar but i love every part of this wonderful game.

imo this game deserves to be up there with chrono trigger and the other great 90s jrpgs
