Amazing game, carrying on the legacy of the first title. I hope the developer keeps doing these forever! Amazing stuff, seriously!

Brilliant and colourful, Wizordum is the perfect middle point between heretic and Wolf3D.
The style and vibrant colours is reminiscent of the beautiful Catacombs 3D series that preceeded wofl3D, but the levels and verticality play a very nice trick that takes the game a couple generations above its influences. With lots of community content, solid content creation tools and an amazing degree of level design, this game is perfect and can only get better from here!

Buff HD is the ultimate arena shooter experience. There's always a thousand things happening on the screen at every level and it never stops feeding you dopamine with its over-the-top approach to feedback. Everything feels, sounds and looks absolutely stunning, and it's all paired up with a hilarious sense of humour.

It's been a long time since there was a game that just made me feel GOOD. This is and FPS fan's comfort food and you owe it to yourself to get those buff baddies. Highly recommend it!

Boring, repetitive and uninspired. With it's non-stop flood of unskippable cutscenes and its directionless levels, it never really ramps up to a fun experience. Combat is both uninspired and repetitive, with hordes upon hordes of enemies descending upon you, while all the skills and tools you acquire seem focused on 1v1 combat. The melee distance of attacks is off by a mile, requiring you to be too close to the target, to the point where it's hard to telegraph enemies behaviours and react accordingly. The end result is a slog of tanking damage and spamming attacks, with the odd dash here and there.

The darkness mechanic never really feels like anything more than a nuisance, turning the already slow and repetitive combat to a grinding halt. The core loop is uninspired and the game world is full of names that mean nothing to the player, even with the unslaught of lore heavy unskipabble cutscenes.

This game needs to go back in the oven and rebuild itself in a way that it actually flows well. The ubisoft-esque skill tree needs some serious re-assessment and combat needs to be made a lot more responsive and a lot faster. It also needs to be much faster at giving you the Zelda-esque tools, so you can actually enjoy experimenting with them, something the game never lets you do. Levels are either long walking segments, frustrating puzzle dungeons or combat arenas, with no in-between. I would love to refund this game but its bevvy of unskippable cutscenes took it way beyond two hours to get a solid assessment.

You will really never feel like going back for the treasure chests and sidequests because the rewards feel absolutely pointless, which when paired with the low exp you get from combat, translates into skipping most of the non-obligatory combat as much as possible, just to get to the next annoying af puzzle dungeon.

Fighting the same stoney peasants and fat halflings can only carry you so much, and that is less than 8 hours. I will finish the game most likely due to how expensive it is, but please please please, stay away.

Hyperstrange sure has a good eye for shooters! Supplice is this year's GOTY for me with Postal BD being last year's. A masterclass in level design with a gorgeous artstyle and the chunkies sounds you'll ever hear. The prog-rock soundtrack is really unique and it's incredible how well it fits a violent retro shooter like this. Pure powertrip.

A decent atmosphereic Action Dungeon Crawler! Aligned Games has knocked it out of the park with the concept and it's definitely a game worth checking out! Manage your oxygen and find all the keys you can to stock up and survive through the haunted planet base full of horrors!

Really solid ARPG. The build potential is amazing, as classes combo with eachother, giving way to insane systems. There is definitely a lot of originality and I honestly wish more ARPGs had a creative approach to their mechanics like Ghostlore.

The setting is a bit off-puting as the mix between modern world and fantasy feels very mismatched, but once the game gets going, your brain will blank that out. Excellent little game.

Great collectathon shooter with A LOT of promise. Play it fast, play it smooth and keep an eye behind your back! HELLSCREEN is not just a retro shooter, it's an experience that everyone should play.
