Trepang2 is without a doubt the best FPS game I have played in years. It is so refreshing to see an arena shooter get so much right and almost nothing wrong. The only bad thing about this game is just how criminally short it is -- despite the obvious influences within the story, I still feel it had a very creative spin to it. I was a fan of the Easter Eggs, both the on-the-nose ones and the more hidden ones.

But to get to the real meat of it, the combat was simply fantastic. The adrenaline rush never got old, and though the mechanics are really simple for an arena shooter, the beautiful arenas and their thoughtful layouts and designs, as well as the different enemy types, weapons, and utility items keeps the combat fresh through every single encounter.

If you're a fan of FEAR, DOOM, Half-Life, SUPER-HOT, or similar games, this is absolutely a game for you.

The game is wonderful, and while the developer's priorities are still questionable, it is doubtless that their motives are pure.

They want to make a fun game. Making a game isn't easy, but these developers are proving that they care about their fans and that they want the best for their community.

The gameplay is incredible, and while it can get stale, they consistently drop new content, orders, and cosmetics to keep the game interesting.

And last but not least, they worked with the players to reverse their publisher's decision to make PSN a requirement for online play, saving untold hundreds of thousands from an undemocratic way of life. God bless.

I've been playing Skyrim since 11/11/2011, so day one. I was a teenager when it came out so I didn't have the money to buy a PC that could properly run Skyrim, so I played it on my Xbox 360. I played my first main save for years, completing literally every quest available (except for the ones that were bugged and couldn't be finished) and the only reason I ever stopped playing was because my save files began to get corrupted, and even then I still tried to play and just avoid the corrupted areas up until I just couldn't anymore.

Throughout that whole time, I watched YouTubers like MxR showcase Skyrim mods on PC that amazed me. When they re-released Skyrim on Xbox One and allowed us to download a select mods, I played through again and had a blast, but I knew I was missing out on the true modded experience. Things like SKSE, SkyUI, ENBSeries, and other mods/tools that simply couldn't be ported over were still out of my grasp, not to mention the absolutely absurd mod limit that prevented me from using all my favorites at once.

Flash forwards to this year, when I saved enough money to buy a PC that could run games well, and I could finally play around with all those mods that I grew up watching. I spent two weeks selecting mods, tweaking settings, and fixing load orders. Last week on Monday I finally had it set up and I was ready to play. But guess what happened when I tried to launch? Crash to Desktop. I knew it wasn't my mods since I was very selective, so I was very confused. Then I saw it. Bethesda updated Skyrim. Again. And broke the most important mods out there. I was hopeful at first, thinking there was maybe some new content or some MUCH NEEDED bug fixes.

But no. It was paid mods. PAID MODS. You guys broke some of the oldest and most important mods that the community has loved for the past ten years just to try and steal some more money out of our pockets and shove paid mods down our throats.

Remember what happened last time, Bethesda?

Maybe you guys should focus on making games that actually function with good gameplay elements (or fix Starfield) rather than focus on beating this dead horse some more.
