Rain World is a very hard to describe game for me. Best way I can put it, its an ecosystem simulator with a beautiful game on top, but as a result of the simulation of animals and such, it CAN be very bullshitty at times. For me, personally, it adds to the experience, but it certainly isnt for everyone.

This game has broken me like 2 times in a row, and a 3rd one not long after, and even though I didnt directly get a reward for pushing on through, getting to see this beautiful world, climbing to the top of the highest structures, taking in time to appreciate the art and music, the simple yet complex interactions, the history and topics presented, it was all good enough of a reward for me to actually want to finish this game, with the DLC slugcats and all.

The "bad" things I could say about this are that its VERY unforgiving, and sometimes just unfair, and that it tends to crash sometimes, but all of these are, for me, outweighed massively if you enter its world with the appropiate mindset, one of "I may die a lot, but I will try my very best"

This game also taught me to be a stubborn ♥♥♥♥ when games get hard, which in all honesty, I kind of appreciate since it's helped me get through quite a few games now!

But yeah, if you have the money, the time and the patience for it, you should 100% buy it. Once you get past the worst part, I guarantee you will love this game.

all i saw is the protagonist being an insufferable redditor up until i decided to hold down ctrl, then quit the game

2/10, made me laugh with a friend because of how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ every character was

i love this game, but you have to play it without knowing anything about it for it to be even better

cute and nice, and, well, it really is just nice and good lol

no bugs (other than the literal ones), and the music was awesome too. i would also happily pay for the soundtrack lol

this must be one of the best games i've ever played. btw, the AI guy is very cool and very well written as a character
