You return home after a stressfull day, and all you want is just to free your mind? Then this is the game for you, a really simple puzzle game, one of the most chilling experience I've ever found in videogames.

I really wanted to like it, and for the first time on steam I tried not to trust the reviews, but I did a bul**it. And I can say that I gave it a chance, as at the time of writing this review I have lost > 30 hours in game.

Unlike other reviewers I have not found any major bugs, this is probably the only positive thing you will read in this review.

About the other problems I agree with what other reviews have reported, and in general they can all be summarized in:

MICROMANAGEMENT
The micromanagement system is just awful, you are always behind to manage even the smallest value, losing the vision of the whole. You waste hours moving individual citizens from one job to another, and you have no way to manage the population otherwise. An example? You build something > you place 6 builders, then you run low on food > you move 4 people there, then you run out of water while building > you stop the construction and move 2 people there, then you need radiation protection > you hope to have enough food and move 2 people there. And so on ad infinitum. The 98% of the whole f***ing game is this.

TUTORIAL
The tutorial is a joke, the "juice" of the game is very poorly explained, and most of the things it teaches, you will never see them in a real game as to unlock them they will be behind endless searches (which will require so many materials to dry up the warehouses). Also half of the challenges you will face during a normal game are not covered by tutorial, and from a certain point of view it is satisfying to find a solution, but after a while it starts to get repetitive and boring.

BUILDINGS MANAGEMENT
As soon as the city begins to grow, you start to not find facilities. The game "forces" you (unless you want to lose) to build everything around the city center, as all resources are stocked there even if you set up warehouses. This creates a big mess around it, and even if you try to plan knowing what comes next, you’ll never have a way to organize it. Also, the further you move a structure away from this central area, the more it takes to produce, because citizens will have to walk all the way from the structure to the city center to take materials, and vice versa to bring them at the producing point, and the after produced they bring the final product back at the city center, for EVERY piece that is produced.

POINT OF NO RETURN
Sooner or later during a game you will happen to make a mistake, most of the time it will be inherent in radiation protection. And there you know the game will end. You begin to see the population slowly get sick, then they start to die, no one has more children (not even the healthy population). Then to survive you begin to shut down the production of "non-essential" resources, but in a short time you will see that it will not be enough, and you will enter in this loop of death from which there is no way out. In the last game I tried to avoid it, but after more than 10 hours, passed the season 200, over 300 citizens alive and healty in the city, that moment has come. And the whole village started dying, and I couldn't do anything to stop it. There is a solution? I don't think so, or at least, the tutorial doesn't teach you anything about it, and I've tried them all, but haven't found a way out.

CONCLUSION
I could continue forever listing all these problems, this game is simply poorly thought. The developers tried to build something merging Frostpunk, Cities, Banished, LIF:FV, Anno, and some other pillars of this game genre, adding their customization and creating a big mess. And the problem is that is not something you can fix, it’s the core of the game, the idea, which is flawed, for this I would suggest avoiding the purchase of the title, do not make my same mistake.
