Let me start off by saying that I can't believe that this game is free to play on Steam. I understand it's the prologue and it's basically a teaser for the bigger game coming out later on, but wow this really felt like a full fledged gaming title right here. It combined so many of my favorite games into one and felt so much like Resident Evil and Silent Hill had a one night stand together with vampires involved. The graphics are absolutely amazing. The storyline is still questionably since there's so much more to be explained, and I felt like the puzzles were really well done too, if not maybe too difficult, especially the one at the end of involving the billiards table. I actually had to look up another video to figure out what I was supposed to do. Oh, the combat for the most part is alright too, but I feel like you die way too easy against the super powered enemies. I think I died in two hits? That might be a little overboard, but I get it. It's supposed to be survival horror. Overall, it was really well done. With a few tweaks, I think this could be a great game release later down the road.

Really hate to do this, but this game crashed on me three times in three different parts of the game in the span of trying to play it. Too bad, because I had high hopes for this but it is unplayable for me on PC. I will try it again on the Xbox.

I played this game just last night on my Twitch.tv livestream (http://www.twitch.tv/zombchicken/v/11843690) and didn't know what I was getting into beforehand. I stated at the beginning it was kind of like a love child of Dead Space and Doom 3, and that was pretty accurate. I really do like this game, and really find that the upgrade system and loot drops are a really nice touch. I was able to beat the main campaign in about 4 hours going at a casual pace, but there's tons of replay value attached to this game; including weapon unlocks and two survival wave-based modes that really bring the Killing Floor out in this game. At only $4.99 this is a total steal and everyone should get this game. It's really good at that price and should be more than that! Cannot wait for Dead Effect 2!

Good game if you just want to catch up with WWE times and mess around with current day roster on the PC for those who don't have a nextgen console, you might enjoy it if you are just a casual gamer with wrestling games and just want to screw around on it.

Bad game if you run an e-fed, want customization and was hoping for some total revamps. Still only 25 caw slots like on nextgen consoles. I'm sure people will find ways to mod the game by twerking the .pac files in the game folders and do a lot of cool stuff, but it probably isn't worth it seeing how 2k16 will be out in about six months right now. I myself run an e-fed league on Twitch (have been since 2008) and might dabble in this to try and edit some stuff in the game's folders but I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone who was hopefully looking for something new and better in terms of modding and customizing unless you really want to dig into the game's files and start messing around with .pac files.

If you don't care about any of that and just want to play the game for what it is and enjoy rasslin' with today's WWE wrestlers, then go for it, the graphics are pretty and the Universe mode is really fun to do. MyCareer can be fun and the online parts of the game (matches/custom) works well from what I tested it so far on release day.

This game is pretty f'n amazing. I own this here on Steam and the Xbox 360 versions and absolutely fell in love with it. Like others, I only wish there was a two player co-op to add a bit more replayability to the game, but that's not enough to hate on it at all. The game itself is incredible to lose yourself in if you are into scavenging and collecting supplies while dealing with the hardships of a band of survivors and the undead constantly trying to eat your buttholes out.

This game is really, really good! The developer is an awesome guy who is easy to get along with, which always helps! The game itself is amazing and brings back all the nostalgic feelz from the NES days through so many different reasons. I have actually played through and beat this game and its predecessor and have had a lot of fun. Definitely recommended for those who want to challenge themselves and live back in the old days while not having to rage too hard through the game. It has that MEDIUM difficulty twinge that allows pretty much anyone to get through it if you are willing to keep on trucking!

Why are you even reading these for this game? Just get it. SMH.

Man I have to thank Tommyspud for getting me on this game. I really find this addicting! My favorite character in the game is Ellen Ripbro because I am a hardcore Aliens fan. I'm not so much a fan of the versus multiplayer as much as I am of the co-op story mode in the game. I just hope they finish the rest of this game soon!

This is totally a simplified version of H1Z1, so if you are looking to get into the game and want to play something for free, try this. The only downside is you have to know someone to host an online server or know someone who has one, otherwise you won't be playing with other people. Outside of that small thing, you are going to really enjoy this game although it seems the dev doesn't really communicate that often with the people who play the game.
