PCE is a fast paced, wild & chaotic game. The war between man & Dino's just rages so expect to kill & be killed, hunt & be hunted - all rather quickly. A great improvement to its predecessor PC, it offers elements of PC + its own; making it a great game of its kind.

Now sadly, the dissapointments. (Playin 3K+ hours ya do notice a few things) Its so full of bugs, glitches, inbalancies & unfairness I just wouldnt even know where to start. In fact the list is as long has your arm. Big updates have come thru but no issues are being solved. Ironically, new bugs have developed. So we got new on top of old now. They introduce new maps whilst others still have problems. Collisions are very poor. Tyrants ghost through solid objects allowing them to turn illegally giving them great advantages. Human weapons have had a few good additions lift but still remain rather archaic. Some Dinos use little to no stamina when performing actions which is ludicrous. Some Dinos are just way overpowered. A little human 150 HP is mere nothing compared to 230 HP - 3000 HP Dinos!!! Patchys 'drift' which has been taken from a racing game!! Ridiculous or what?? Tyrants mouth grab when you aint near there mouths!!! Spinos claw swipes hit from behind!!! Plus others. The games mechanics are just all over the place. The Devs have lost the plot, completely.

A game is only as good as the Devs who create & support it. These Devs are very poor indeed. Despite countless comments they wont react to any issues - even in the way of just short burst fixes!!

Summing up
Dinos are clearly the favourites. The Devs pay more attention to them than humans - giving them more skins, cosmetics & mutations. There quite pricey too. The buffs (uplifts) theyve had since the games release is overdone & continues to do so. We need another game like this but more realistic which is what Im hoping to see in future.

As said in many reviews, its like Harvest Moon. For those who know HM - for this price anyway, your not getting a different 'game' as such. In fact what you are accurately getiing is, an HM clone but with more features. Despite the features, it feels in essence HM. For those who dont know HM, you'll find its a pretty, colorful, refreshing game.

For those who want to pick up where HM left off, this is ideal.

Omsi 2 is very realistic. Real weather connected internet countries gives realism. Real time play ensures you try to meet your schedules. Fully controlable vehicles, everything from lowering the step to adjusting the sun blind.

The AI vehicles act realistic, like indicating one direction and going the other. They try to cut you up & cross lanes just in front of you. Go through red lights. Try & beat you at getting somewhere first. This is a real challenge with collisions turned on. However, buggy AI vehicles 'ghost' through themselves & tend to collide with you. So its probably best to keep collisions off ATM.

Theres no company bosses to answer to. You just get in a bus, select a timetable & away you go!!! Or, if you wanna be different like me, play a freelance driver. Set a destination, head that way & pickup or drop off whoever you come across. This is only to mention a few things. Its practically a 'digital job' !!

Flip side of that is its very slow for updates & bug fixing. I understand theres been internal issues going on causing these long delays. Still buggy a bit as mentioned and theres been an ongoing problem for many with Multihreading. Turned on makes the game more stable but at the cost of performance.

Final notes:
It is worth owning. Ive played many hours when been in the mood to 'work' this way.

Ive bin following this a while & just decided to purchase. Dissapointing to say - after playing about half hour, I started getting bored. Theres just not enuff actions to perform. With the graphics as they are, the gameplay should compensate but it dosnt. The concept of the games good but it really needs spicing up - a lot.

It claims to be three elements: Simulation, Strategy & Management. The only real true element is the simulation which is no doubt the best part. The vehicle operations, apart from the steering, are quite good.

The strategy ? Just simple decision making without any consequence to those decisions means you cant do anything wrong so you dont learn anything.

The management ? Like the "strategy" - plain, simple and quite boring. Therefore the game offers no challenge in both these areas whatsoever. A catagory of casual would be fitting to its tags.

Final words:
If simplicity in these two areas is for you and you like simulation, then I would recommend it - but only on sale.

Reading the terminal about responsibilities & duties, sounded like you had a job in the station over considerable time. Maintaining & recording logs of various systems. I was very intrigued by that aspect cus I love working in space. Very dissapointed to say it was nothing of the kind. All you do is follow a certain pattern of things that led a to a climax of just escaping the station !!! :((( Its realy short too. VS had the potential of being a good working in space game. But its far from it.

Its kind of RTS survival: Resourcing, crafting, building, etc. Food consumption is a good little aspect so is keeping the Dwarves alive. The permanent death setting adds a bit more care & is recommended. Invading monster armies add interest & look good for a side scrolling game. Its 2D but by no means depreciated as its still visually impressive. Higher Dwarf population gets chalenging cus they do have a tendancy to wonder willy nilly after scattered resources & go somewhere least expected. They do like to waffle on which gets annoying when one just 'walks to talk' in the way of your doing something. Better control & selection of them is deffo required - maybe a command bar on the selected unit cus direct control of a Dwarf as its problems. Game crashes are common at the time of this review. However, its got great potential & is quite entertaining & can be addictive.
