I feel the reviews that say this game is less intimate than the first one. It really is. FP1 just felt really cozy in a survival city building kind of way. Though ultimately i think FP2 is the better game in terms of gameplay and complexity. There is so much to consider. Its a lot of fun juggling politics, resources and laws.

Though sadly the cozy factor is gone now. But for Survival City Builders this is a huge improvement and a prime example on how to do it right. At least in my opinion

Edit: I have to say, Mahler (founder of moon studios) is a moron for his stance on woke and cancel culture and for talking ♥♥♥♥ about CDPR and Cyberpunk.
But hey, his studio is at least competent and does make awesome games. ♥♥♥ Mahler and praise his devs

Oh boy, this game is a blast!
The gameplay is really nice. It was a bit difficult at first, but once you get the timings right, its so much fun. You characters feels heavy (in a good way) the animations are top quality and every hit feels punchy and satisfying.
Looking at the gameplay i wasnt that thrilled to play it, it looked cool but thats about it. Though the Art style is so damn beautiful and unique. It feels like i haven't played anything like this before. Story is fun and i enjoy the side activities. Housing is nice and crafting is also well done.

Weapons can also change combat style by enchanting them, every weapon feels unique. The visuals are unique and its a challenging game. It can be a bit difficult if you've never played any souls-like before, but its worth the experience.

The performance though is bad sometimes. Not unplayable bad, but depending on your hardware it could be. Though they are working hard on the game. Its early access.

You can only play chapter 1 for now, but its so good, i would pay the price if that were the whole game. I am really looking forward for more content!

Give the devs some love and money, they deserve it (except for mahler though).

AND THE VISUALS ARE SO DAMN STUNNING!

We did it! Our fight against the PSN requirement was
successful!

If you miss the good old Left 4 Dead and generally coop shooter times when they were really good then pick this masterpiece up. This is the most fun coop game i've played in a long time. No PVP, just fun PVE. And this is just the beginning. There will be more enemie types and stratagems like Mechs etc. coming. They scrapped the old roadmap because they didn't expect such a success.

And don't think Arrowhead is owned by Sony. They just partnered up, so they are still indie. No special treatment for PS5 or anything of that sort.

Go get it and FIGHT FOR DEMOCRACY!

Tl:dr Buy this game and give the devs (those from the remake and the original) some love. It's a incredible game. Though it won't hold your hand.

Full review:

Oh damn, this game. Why didn't i play this earlier? I am a bit too young for the original System Shock but i am so glad this remake exists. This game is an absolute masterpiece. The story is nice and engaging, the combat is good, not groundbreaking but enjoyable.

Though the Story was very good and the environmental storytelling was really nice. It was so interesting that every time i found a note or anything i read through it and i also listened to every single audio log i found. This is the first game that made me do this. Normally i skip this part because my adhd brain doesn't want me to read boring notes and wants that dopamin rush from combat or exploration.
But this well made remake made me read though everything.

It's really sad that only less than 18% actually finished this game.

But i get it, always having to listen to audio logs to find where to go and what to do can be tedious for some/most. But thats what makes this so special. No questmarker. No real guide. Just listen to what characters say to you and explore and use your brain.

Also, the combat difficulty starts really easy and at first that made me a bit worried, but it gets harder the more you play it. Though if you explore enough, you never run out of ammo.

Hope this review is making sense. I am not that good at writing stuff like this in my first language, so english is even harder for me.

Where should i start? I am someone who fell in love with the old Bioware games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect etc. I am a huge fan of games with good narratives, characters and choices. And of course good romance.
I also played Divinity OS2 for a bit, but i could'nt play it on my own, i needed someone to play it with. Though i really enjoyed my time with it. Then i just found out about BG3 by accident and i bought it in early access. I was really excited to play it and enjoyed my EA time.
Then the release date got announced and i was even more excited. When it finally released i was scared because it didnt catch my interest in the first few hours but then it hit me. I played this game every spare minute i had. This game blew my expectations and i fell in love with it. I play it simultaneously with my GF (not coop) and every time we talked about what we experienced, we realised how different our experiences are. Every choice and thing you do, affects how you experience the story.
I just can't describe how much fun this game is and how good it is. Especially on the technical level.
♥♥♥ every AAA dev and company that said this shouldn't be the new standard. This has to be the new standard for AAA. Not every game needs choices or romance and stuff, but if you make an RPG with choices, make them meaningful.
This is what RPG really means. Its an RPG in its purest form.
Even when you don't like CRPGs, give this a try. This is my GOTY and probably my new favorite game of all time. I really love Mass Effect, but for the first time i found a game that made me rethink that.
Love for Larian <3

Einfach toll

Subnautica Below Zero is a beautifully mastercrafted survival game. It feels a bit smaller than the previous Subnautica, but that doesn't make it less fun. It's just one of the best survival games ever. It's worth every last second.

It's a really really fun game. Especially with friends! It's very scary and gets more scary with every update. Even though it's not the best game in terms of graphics and animations, it is better than most games that are polished. The developers are working hard on the game.

Very nice game. There were some parts that i didn't like. Some parts were too short and i feel like they gave Dimitrescu enough screentime, but they didn't give the others enough. Overall a fun and good Survival Horror game.
