I came to this game INCREDIBLY late. A friend decided I'd enjoyed my life for too long and needed something to make me feel bad. So, allow me to provide a review as someone who purchased prime, has played hundreds of hours in the last year, and still has no clue what they're doing.

• Dominating in casual makes me feel superior
  
• I am now allowed to whine about what makes a "real" shooter
  
• I'll never get surprised by a flashbang irl

• The graphics are terrible, even on the highest settings
  
• Maps are dominated by sweats holding stupid angles and making ridiculous wallbangs
  
• Competitive matchmaking is a joke (250k online, not a single one my rank)
  
• The volume of information a new player has to learn to not get demolished is practically insurmountable
  
• At minimum, a third of silver competitive matches have at least one blatant cheater

CS:GO is ugly. It ostracizes new players with unintuitive mechanics that don't transfer to other games. Winning feels... fine, but losing feels terrible. I don't think I've ever played something more frustrating. Overall, it provides a horrible experience that I keep coming back to. Get out while you still can.
