Beautiful. Single-handedly reignited my love for the Persona franchise.

I've played all previous versions before, but P3R blows them all out of the water.

In my opinion, this is one of the most meaningful stories ever.

Very happy that Persona 3 got the remake it deserved.

Haven't played much yet, but my first impressions of it are really good so far!

The graphics are good. I'd say they're on the same level, or even better than 4GO. The 2D live action portraits look amazing as well, and feel more lively than they've ever been. All cut-scenes have been more enjoyable because of it. Combat also seemed fun too.

Nep Jr. is the main character this time around, and if you're like me and are a big fan of MK2/Re;Birth 2, this actually may be a plus. SVS makes a lot of callbacks to it, including using older tracks. Hearing songs from those games again play in the background gave me a big feeling of nostalgia along with a huge smile on my face. Not to mention it's just nice seeing Nepgear in the spotlight again. After her arc in RB2, she's became one of my favorite characters in the series. Maybe even over Nep Nep herself!

This feels like the first Neptunia game in awhile with actual effort put into it. I'm happy to see it and I hope the series continues in this direction!

The eXceed series games and OSTs will be DELISTED from Steam on Jan 6th!

The eXceed series is a highly underrated trilogy of danmaku games. While the first game (Gun Bullet Children) is extremely rough around the edges, it showed signs of promise. The series then drastically improved in its second entry (Vampire Rex) and went even further beyond that with Jade Penetrate Black Package.

eXceed 3rd - Jade Penetrate Black Package is the most notable game in the trilogy, and for many reasons. It has an absolutely fantastic soundtrack, great gameplay, and beautiful visuals. I have even seen someone compare it to Touhou, calling it: "Metal Touhou" and honestly, I would agree. It's that good.

Despite how awesome this game is, it still wasn't enough to bring the franchise more fame. The series continued to fall into obscurity... and it truly is a shame that it never got the love it deserved.

If you somehow landed on the Steam store page for eXceed before the delist, then PLEASE consider buying them + their original soundtracks. I absolutely think the series deserves it.

Afterwards, it is highly likely they will turn into abandonware, never to be sold legally again.

A massive improvement over the first game in almost every way imaginable.

The soundtrack in particular is a HUGE step-up from Gun Bullet Children, and is very worth of praise. Chinatsu's boss theme "Shock!!" and late boss theme "Puppe" are some of my favorite tracks. I even go out of my way to listen to them on their own sometimes.

Gameplay-wise, it has been compared to Ikaruga, and I find that to be an accurate assessment. It's very fun and offers a good challenge in the last few stages.
