It was fun to play Final Fantasy again as the last time I played it was on the NES in the 80s. It's a simple and short game. If you want to see the beginning of how Japanese RPGs got popularized in America, then this game and Dragon Quest (originally released as Dragon Warrior in the US) are the games you should be playing. The updated pixel graphics and the many small interface updates make this game well worth playing.

There is a lot to love about Fallout 76 but there is a lot of annoyances too. For a game going on two years old this November (2020), it still has a lot of bugs. I would recommend patience for those who play this, and I think the game is more fun for people who play with others. It's a fun game but I would wait until it goes on sale as there has been long content droughts.
PVP was a major part of the game at launch but has since been scaled way back in the normal Adventure mode. PVP is now a very minor part of the game now that Nuclear Winter was removed. Basically don’t get Fallout 76 if you are mainly interested in PVP
The Seasons content is mostly just filler/busy work to keep players occupied until the next major content patch. The seasons have no real quests or story content. You do daily and weekly chores which give you points to go up in rank to unlock more stuff you can build items for your character and camp. Season rewards have no weapon or armor upgrades but have some useful items for your camp and one-use items for yourself. Generally, how much you care about gaining ranks in the Seasons depends on how much you care about building up your camp and changing how you look with weapon/armor skins.
The last major content patch was in April and the next one has been pushed back to sometime next year. Wastelanders introduced NPCs back into the game which improved the story content over the base game. The Wastelanders quests start at level 20 and can be done in a week or two but you will require at least a month of additional grinding (doing the same 3-4 quests everyday) to unlock the best weapons and armor.
I don’t recommend buying atoms EVER in this game as items you get are usually overpriced toys but if you want to buy something in the atom shop, I recommend just getting one month of Fallout 1st. You get more atoms then you would just buying them directly and other useful features like unlimited junk space which lasts even after the month of Fallout 1st is over.
Do I recommend this game? Honestly, it depends on the person. If you recently got into Fallout or like post-apocalyptic worlds that don’t take themselves too seriously then it’s worth it. I don’t recommend if you primarily play solo as there isn’t much to do once you have explored the map. If you are on a limited budget or only buy a few games a year do not buy this. There are better and more valuable experiences elsewhere. If you finished Fallout 4 and really wished there was more content or that you could play with friends then maybe this if for you.
Notes on long lasting bugs/issues
-Often damage you do to enemies isn't recorded which means you have to use extra ammo to take enemies out
-Mole Rats and Radscorpions break your stealth immediately just by being underground. I haven't seen other enemies do this.
-Mole Rats and Radscorpians can dig (read:teleport) to any place there is a floor regardless if is on a different level or completely unnatural to do so.
-crash to desktop vary in frequency and may depend on what server you are on at the time. Making sure you have the latest graphics driver helps but is far from a guaranteed solution.
-If you get disconnected from the game there is no way to get back to that particular server unless your in-game friend is on it.
-often some servers are more unstable then others. There is no way for the player to know exactly which server they are on so if your server is unstable the easiest option is to log out then back in to hop to a different server
-enemies aronud you sometimes die randomly even before you damage them which means you don't get XP or are able to loot them.
-Enemy sound is not accurate. Enemies that are 50 feet away or on another floor sound like they are right next to you so it is hard to tell where an enemy is by sound alone.

Nov 19, 2020 update: Server stability seems worse lately. I still play daily and my issues haven't been bad but some people it is much worse. The reason for "Not Recommended" is because Steam doesn't have a "Maybe" option and I wouldn't recommend this game for everyone despite playing it myself for most of the two years.

April 19, 2022 update: Server stability is very much an issue as well as crashes to desktop. Some of the new events are fun but if you haven't come back by now you might as well wait until expedentions in the Fall. For new players, I recommend buying a certain game service for a month and trying it out. HINT: Game service is owned by Bethesda's new owner.

INSIDE was a lot of fun. The story of the game isn't made obvious to you. You have to put a lot of clues together to infer what is going on. The ending of the game won't help you find out the story either. INSIDE's main game can be finished in 4-5 hours so consider getting it on sale if that isn't enough time for the money. There is a secret ending you can reach by unlocking the achievements that adds some extra time.

Overall, it's a fun game and a good successor to anyone who enjoyed Limbo. Looking forward to their next game.

If you played Castlevania Symphony of the Night about 20 years ago and have always wanted another game like it then this is definitely for you. There are a lot of callbacks to that game including some of the same voice actors that voice similiar roles. This game is really fun and highly recommended if you like classic 2.5D action. The gameplay is strictly 2D but the graphics are rendered in 3D. I dual-analog controller is strongly recommended and clearly the intended way to play this game.

The only downside is that I wish the game was longer. It's about 20-40 hours to beat the story and find all map locations but I still wanted more. This is definitely one of my favorite games so far this year.

This is a semi fun, chill game to play. While I choose recommended, If there was a middle, "meh" option, I would have chosen that. FF4 has some bad graphics esp in the cutscenes. It does offer some new mechanics in the augment system. If used properly, the augment system allows you to have OP characters. It isn't explained in the game very well but it is worth looking up game guides about it. The augments also carry over to multiple play-throughs.

If you see this game on sale and feel nostalgic about playing the SNES version then there is probably enough new features to justify a discounted purchase. If you haven't played many 90s era JRPGs then you may not like this as that is essentially what it is. This is not a great port but it also should run on even low-end PCs. I didn't experience any bugs in my playthrough. It plays fine with an xbox360 controller.

If you want a great RTS game from over a decade ago get Rise of Nations: Extended Edition instead. It's the same price but with better graphics and easier to see icons. Rise of Nations has more features and interesting gameplay elements then this one does.

Brothers: Tale of two sons is an amazing game. It is a one player game where you control both brothers with one controller. Each brother is controlled with a thumb stick and a shoulder button. The game is a platformer type that tells an amazing story. The spoken dialogue is not in a real language but you can figure out what is going on by hand gestures and context.

The game is well-paced all the way through. The puzzles are not overly complicated but not too simple either. The gameplay is challenging without making you feel like controlling the two brothers is overly frustrating. There are no active-time button presses or any other cheap gameplay mechanics. Every part of this game feels well thought-out.

You will need a dual-analog controller and I highly recommend the Xbox 360 controller. If you have an issue where the older brother's controls are reversed then see the Steam forum for the quick config edit to fix it. Overall, a very fun game.

The ending is powerful and emotional in a way that is moving and deep. Very few games have had this kind of effect on me.

Limbo is a fun and creepy game. It has neither dialogue nor interface during gameplay, I beat it in about 4 hours. It is a short game but well worth playing.

A great way to track all of Steam purchases! Seriiously, you can manage your budget much more easily using this software. It can even teach you how to manage your money better in general. Highly recommended.

Osmo is a fun puzzle game involving both osmosis and inertia. It looks simple but has strategy and ways of winning that are not immediately obvious. Highly recommended.
