ok thanks evidentally the prolem lies within the video card. A 900 dollar Laptop apperently does not come with a video better than 64 MB getting top of the line installed now. Be playing in no time.

@CodeName if you get this message i am sorry to say but i have no idea. The only problems i have had with rage is that it started to randomly freeze. If this ever happens to you, right click on rage, go to properties and unselect 'allow steam community'

could you tell me why rage is not working just bought a high end laptop and i gives me a list of error messages
