Honestly one of my favorite games of 2023. If you're a fan of Soulslike games and third person shooters, this game packs in tons of secrets and customization. I've done several playthroughs now on different difficulties and I think I've finally found *most* of what the game has to offer. This game has tons of content for the price it's worth and an absolute boatload of reply-ability. I cannot wait to see what the DLC has in store for adding to an already amazing game experience.

Lorewise, the world-lore is some of the most interesting i've seen in a while but on the downside the main plot leaves a lot to be desired. It's a good thing the rest of the gameplay loop is so enjoyable and atmospheric that I don't mind many of my gripes with the main story.

Also, you can pet the dog.

All of the DLC is pretty fun but I feel like they haven't quite nailed getting the game to be more replayable after going through the game a few times prior to the DLC releases.

A very faithful adaptation for one of my favorite board games. I had a tough time initially learning the rules outside of playing to teach my friends, so I picked up the steam copy so I could practice a few solo matches to get a better grip on the game system. There is a lot of variety in this game and they're slowly adding in the new expansions as well. Highly recommended if you want to try out the game before biting the bullet on the physical copy. If you love asymmetrical strategy games then this game is for you. Also, who doesn't love woodland creatures playing the banjo?

I did initially have some issues with multiplayer on release but since then it seems like they've patched most of those issues.

A great ga- I feel like I've reviewed before... something about it... I don't remember what happened... time just kind of passed by and I've been walking this same road. OH! Surely, my review has persuaded you to... buy... Did I tell you that this was a good game?

This game may not look like much at first glance, but once you dip your toes in this viking water you won't want to stop playing. The visuals up close leave much to be desired, but like some piece of Monet art, everything around you somehow manages to look so damn beautiful all the time. Even the soundtrack is nice and relaxing (until you get to the bosses). The game highly encourages exploration, and for good reason, there is so much to discover and love in Valheim for you and your viking party. While there are some bugs, for an early access title this game has much promise.

One of the best co-op experiences I've had in a while. A true hardcore FPS experience. The game is challenging but not really ever in a way that it feels unbeatable. The atmosphere for the game is phenomenal if you're into games with a lot of tension and dark ambiance. While the game currently lacks a progression system for character/cosmetics, the devs have been testing out new maps/missions with frequently updated rundowns. There are a lot of interesting enemies and environments to learn, and there is definitely a lot of potential for future updates to add a lot more depth to the game. As it stands now, it's a very solid game for the price and is one of the most polished early access titles I've played. On the downside, since this is a very challenging game I would recommend having a full party of 4 to play the game with or be prepared to use LFG on the Discord to find a good group, otherwise you will be struggling very hard.

Honestly one of the most fun games I've played in a while. If you are looking for a great game, and especially a great VR game for some co-op horror, this is it. It captures the atmosphere of being in a haunted house perfectly. While it is a little buggy, for the ~$14 price tag this is well worth the cost and has a ton of replayability. I can't wait to see what else they end up adding to this game.

Ahoy Mateys! As someone who has sank at least well over 1,500 hours into this game since its launch on the Microsoft Store, I highly recommend this game to any skallywag who has been yearning for a nautical adventure full of piracy and player antics.

While the game can be enjoyed solo (and I've spent a lot of time solo crewing a sloop), the experience is far more enjoyable if you have a crew of your best hearties to share the adventure with. Since the game's release, a ton of new free content has been added and Rare has been very dedicated providing monthly updates for the game and providing players with developer updates.

If you're a fan of open world PvP or PvE games this is right up your alley, though be warned, if you do plan on traversing the high seas ye best be ready to defend your treasure from those other scurvy dogs on the server.

Edit: As of late, the servers have not been well off for hit-registration during close quarters combat and the game is in need of a serious PvP update.

Although it currently lacks full support for the Index (finger tracking/grip), this is one of my favorite VR games I've purchased. If you like old school dungeon crawlers and hack and slash games then this is right up your alley. Advise bringing a friend for maximum enjoyment.
