It's pretty okay.

Having beat every map in the game I feel I can give an honest review of the game.

It's a very simple game, with simple graphics and mechanics. In the game there are 75 maps, each taking about 2-5 minutes each to complete. Crown and Council is a game where you can load it up and play a few games while you wait for another game to download, or if you have to wait a few minutes before leaving for school or work. The game also relies on RNG for some of it's gameplay mechanics, such as what tiles your enemies will attack or if you win a battle over a tile. On occasion this can mean that you can attack a fortified title 10 times and not win once, or you can attack it and win on the first try. While it can be frustating at times, it isn't nearly as bad as some reviews make it out to be. There is still strategy involved in this game, such as where you place your fortified tiles, when you build cities, who you attack, and what tiles you take. I honestly feel like people giving this game a negative review because of RNG aren't using the correct strategy in the game.

Besides the gameplay, the soundtrack is nice and the simple graphics of the game are fairly appealing. The soundtrack is just a single song that seems to be on loop, but it's fairly lengthy and I can play a couple maps before it loops again. While the song is very nice, the game could use some more variety. Also if you don't like one of the 75 maps, you can always generate new ones. Some of the pre-made maps are also same as the olds ones, but with player starting locations, mines, and cities being changed.

Overall it's a nice, short experience. I'd recommend it if you want to kill a few minutes every now and then. It's definitely a game that could be made into a mobile game.

Overkill has removed microtransactions from the game, so I can now honestly recommend this game.

This game, is the most beautiful and most well optimized games I've ever played. My GTX 980 runs the game, completely TO THE MAX, at 100FPS at 1440p. It is insane.

If you like weak story telling, horrible and floaty movements, and horrendous voice acting, this game is for you! Because it has all of that, and more! It also has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ level design!

The story is fantastic, the DLCs are worth it, it feels like a post-apocolyptic game! The mechanics could be a bit better, they're more refined in Fallout: New Vegas but not quite fixed. Most of these mechanic problems are fixed with mods, but they feel a bit clunky.
