Looks like they're winding down on this game, and while I think there were multiple different points where the game was better than it is now, I'd say it's still pretty fun. The first paragraph of my old review still stands.

Compared to all of the other creative voxel combat games out there, Robocraft feels alot more polished for multiplayer combat. It isn't extremely complicated where you'd have to spend hours working on a design to do well, but it also does take a bit of thought and knowledge of the mechanics to design something good.

I've given this game a recommendation, but I would not have always done so. This game has changed drastically since I started playing it and will likely continue to change drastically, so take that into account. A lot of the other reviews mention the epic loot update / crates. While I think these were a bad idea for them to add in their first implementation, the devs have made them more bearable and awarded much more frequently.

They've made plenty of other big changes and questionable decisions, and they don't look like they'll stop any time soon. There WILL be massive changes to core mechanics that make a bunch of your bots barely if at all usable, if that's something you can't tolerate then stay away from this game. I for one like that the game changes this rapidly and drastically as it forces redesigns and shakes up the meta every now and then.

Amazing art-style with unique mechanics and a great dynamic soundtrack. Just wish it was a bit longer as I beat it the day I bought it.

Fun game, extremely high skill ceiling, hard to get into.
