The core gameplay is refreshing and casual, with subtle, really interesting mechanics that greatly improve the quality of gameplay. Matches slightly self-balance by giving out passive bonuses for anyone that respawns, and skewed matches are over very quickly while balanced matches take quite a bit of time. The end result is a game where every match can turn on a dime. There's always a chance to win against the odds, because there's no snowball effect you have to work against.

I could go on for a very long time about Concord, but I rather go and play.

Give it a shot. I've been waiting for a good fps like this for a long time. I can safely say, it's 100% here.

Sure, the game changes a lot. Things are buffed and nerfed as time goes on. Sometimes, it doesn't land so well.

But that doesn't change the fact that this game is an absolute masterpiece. It's an amazing ride with every dive, blowing up bugs and bots en masse, barely making it out against overwhelming numbers yet still succeeding the mission. It's honestly one of the more 'fun' games I've played in many years.

Just be a little flexible, and don't get too attached to a specific meta or tactic. It's an ever evolving game with new weapons, enemies, biomes and objectives constantly being added. The amount of content added over time is incredible.

It's perfect to just jump in for a few matches after a long day of work and blast your way through.
